Marvel CEO Isaac Perlmutter is the shadow head of the Department of Veteran Affairs
A member of Trump's Mar-A-Lago getaway, Perlmutter has no U.S. military experience nor a confirmation vote from Congress
MCU belongs to Kevin Fegie. No1Curr about irrelevant Issac Perlmutter and his BOMBING tv shows.

I was tempted to call Fast And Furious healthy and still going strong, but it is troubled time with the internal ego wars, will see for that one, but that last one made like over a billion internationally.
Yeah that one slipped my mind as well - no surprise given that I'm not a fan and haven't seen a single Furious movie LOL. I kinda have a feeling that the spin-off movie will underperform. Guess we will have to wait and see.

TDK is still the GOAT comic book film. TDK Trilogy is the best comic book film trilogy, and it's not even close.
Lol no. That garbage is beyond overrated. The only reason its AS acclaimed is because Heath Leadger croaked. It's a superhero movie that puts more effort into hiding the fact that it's a superhero movie than it does anything else. Both THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and BATMAN BEGINS are sleep inducing. As far as dark and gritty comic book movie go Winter Soilder and Civil War are superior.

Jurassic Park also survived 2018 quite nicely.

grr...men. They read, process, respond, and make decisions.
Could we lay off all the male mods on this forum?
Are there any private forums about box office that are a bit more liberal and don't have the censorship I am looking at?

wel thank god for ASIB that it actually was praised while BR wasnt. Imagine BR's box office if it was
BR was praised more by the general public. That’s what matters anyways.

Wow, who knew that in 2018 we would be burying two more massive franchises? Let’s take a moment and remember all the fallen soilders.
Star Wars
Time of birth: Force Awakens
Time of death: Last Jedi
Harry Potter:
Time of birth: Philosophers Stone
Time of death: Crimes of Grindewald
DCEU:
Time of birth: Stillborn
Cremated: Justice league
Only the MCU remains standing.

Doesn't matter. This will clean up OS and end up being a big money-maker despite the tepid USA response.
Plus, it could grow legs in the coming weeks even DOM, will depend on how Ralph does next week.
It’s already declining in every market except Russia and Germany. That’s really bad considering all the Harry Potter pandering she did with this movie, Dumbledore, nagini, Nicholas flamel, Lestrange ect. I don’t see it crossing 700 million WW.

That’s what J.K gets for trying to play smart on Twitter. She kept saying stuff about “LGBT, diversity”, even changing the race of Hermione, and now when push comes to shove failed to give any of those groups representation. Where was the main POC character? Also Dumbledore was never gay, it was never mentioned in the books, blurting it out after all the books were released is the only reason she has to pretend it’s a thing now. Stop messing with cannon.

You mean like how Warner Bros has continued The Dark Knight Rises' story?
Yes. Didn't they base the entire DCEU on that trilogy? That's why Man of Steel and BvS were so bad since they kept trying to make everything dark and gritty ala Christopher Nolan

Spider-Man 4 was cancelled because of the massively ballooning budget and lack of enthusiasm from Raimi, not because of Spider-Man 3's reaction.
If spider man 3 was loved it would have never been rebooted. They would have gotten a new director to continue the story.

Getting destroyed is a definite matter of opinion though. For example, I would say that SM3 even adds to the trilogy rather than 'ruins' it in a way
Sure thing. How did that opinion work out for you when Spider-Man was cancelled and rebooted? At the end of the day the general consensus is what matters. Movies are a products. If people hate something then it won’t keep getting made.

Sweetie I’m the biggest self proclaimed Harry Potter fan in the world. It’s just sad to see something you love get destroyed. Either do it right or leave it alone.

The way J.Kennedy started writing a movie about Newt and fantastic beasts only to realize that there wasn’t enough to make the movie interesting so she decided to use every character from Harry Potter. Yikes.
-
Let’s not kid ourselves. These numbers are TERRIBLE. She threw every character in the movie (Dumbledore, lestrange, nagini ect.) and it still failed. Dumbledore should have sold this movie like Darth Vader sold Rouge One.
J.K.ennedy needs to hire a good script writer to help her. She doesn’t have the experience. Also the entire “fantastic beasts” premise is STUPID. No one cares about “low-rent doctor who” Newt and Co. These movies should have been a trilogy called: Wizarding World, focused on Dumbledore.

Wow the trailer was so good. Legit made me tear up. 800 million minimum here we go!

I just remembered Beyonce was supposed to be in ASIB. It would have been so awful. Being talentless (don't believe what the media says- she has no talent outside of a decent-at-best singing voice) she wouldn't have been able to contribute anything other than bootyliciousness, fiercely strutting around on stage and doing hair flips. In other words, she would have been her unbearable "Queen Bey" self for 2+ hours. Gross.
Beyonce is immensely talented. She is one of the best performers of all time, a modern day Michael Jackson - and to say that her singing voice is decent at best is beyond delusional. She's better than Lady Joanne in every way. It's funny how she became everything Fad was supposed to be - and completely ERASED her.

Let's be real Venom would have done 1 billion if it was attached to the MCU. Kevin Feige would have made sure that it's a good movie + acclaimed which would have pushed it to 300 million domestically.
