May I ask what movies you plan to see? If you are seeing Dune, please PM me when you see it. I'm a huge fan of the book and read the script for the movie so my expectations are throw the roof.
Best poster not just of the year but in a long long time.
Now we need some floating heads for GA.
I will be seeing SPENCER, DUNE, LAST NIGHT IN SOHO, and HALLOWEEN KILLS.

Same thing happened with the original test screening for HALLOWEEN (2018). A guy notorious for loving the original sequel from 1981, went around to blogs, etc. and told them that the reaction to the film was extremely poor, and that the film was in extreme trouble. Whereas in fact, I know first hand, it actually got very strong reactions. The only negative was a certain sub plot, and that the original ending was anti climatic.
Test screenings can go either way but it's frustrating when one person tries to speak for everyone with their extreme bias.

Very excited to see this at the Venice International Film Festival next week.

This movie is gonna be 1,20h without credits, really dissapointing honestly. just like escape room 2 which seemes very short
Pacing is really great, so it's not too much of an issue. Though I do think the second and third acts could have used another 15 minutes.

From what i read, this will be equally polarised.
Maybe not by critics which seems to like based on twitter reactions and Letterboxd reviews. But the movie apparently is very ambitious, touch in very deep themes in subversive ways, and can make some people very angry about the way it handled social problems.
Also i saw many people saying is not a scary movie, more a creepy one but interested in deeper things.
Anyone that has a problem with its 'social problems' clearly is not a true fan of the original lol.

I wonder what Universal will show on Wednesday regarding Halloween Kills. A scene? A second trailer perhaps?

October seemed like such a great date for Batman, that I don't understand why they wouldn't move Dune to the Holidays instead.
-
Maybe they'll move it up a bit? Early September?
If they delay it again, that'll be brutal. Dune could have moved to the holidays, no?

Re-cast. Too bad two of the best one's working today were already cast in Black Panther.
Nope. Simply, no.

Is this still untitled? It test screened under the title FREAKY FRIDAY THE 13TH right before California shut down.
THAT's what that was when I got the invite? haha

Six of one half dozen of the other. If they're giving room for cover at this point it's likely they'll choose to delay
In that case, today would have been the perfect time to announce a delay date (August), no?

Yeah the lack of a date is conspicuous.
It's not. The date is in the description/on the site.
They most likely didn't include it in the trailer to give themselves leeway if it needs to be pushed/delayed.

Word of mouth will be what really keeps this film going, as well as a longer theatrical run.

I mean, there was no date given at the end of the tv spot, so they could theoretically hold it as long as they can if theaters open in August/September mostly.
