1. Aquaman <10 million considering the opening; at this point, everything is gravy because who really thought this movie would pass 1 billion total gross; I am truly surprised but happy for DC that they are now following marvels formula. 2. Marry Poppins Returns < 6 million; somewhat disappointing but I don't think people realized that a happy go lucky "white bread" movie doesn't work in countries like Japan, China or Korea. It's successful in North America and the United Kingdom because the population is 70% Caucasian and those parents grew up with the 1st one. Emily Blunt is wonderful in almost everything including this movie but the Director is to blame for some of his bad casting, bad script, and terrible songs. I don't believe the movie is meant for this generation of children because their imagination is shot with all the electronics in their lives. It's perfect for the 50s and 60s... 3. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse > 10 Million; the Japanese will love this movie because its secretly the best movie made this year by far. The problem is that its a high-end graphics cartoon movie with a wonderful story. This should have done better in North America but people didn't know what it was and Sony can't market to save its life and if you say look at Aquaman, I would say Wonder Women sold Aquaman, not general marketing.
