  1. So Godzilla is performing even worse than my absolute worst case scenario. I'm absolutely furious. Everyone is saying the characters and plot are bad without even knowing why. Literally nobody can explain it to me. It's the perfect popcorn movie. I am flabbergasted why it's bombing so hard. I think I'm gonna log off for about a week. I'll be back but I'm just so depressed about the performance of this movie that I don't even want to think about the box office for a while. Smdh.
  2. So considering this will almost certainly have better WOM and a better multiplier than Godzilla 2014, can we assume 63 million is the absolute floor for KOTM?
  3. Can anyone give me some good news about KOTM? This constant assault of bad news is really killing my vibe man. I've never been so personally invested in a movie's box office as much as this one and I'm starting to get seriously depressed.
  4. Final post until Godzilla comes out. I'm incredibly nervous. Man I hope this beats the projections. At least an opening over Kong Skull Island and I would be happy. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Godzilla KOTM - 276 (+49), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 68 (+18), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 130 (+3), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Really solid day for Godzilla. Finishes presales above both JW3 and Aladdin at this theater. Happy. Not looking good for SLOP2 or Dark Phoenix. But especially SLOP2. Like, it comes out in a week. Can someone please tell me if presales are supposed to be this bad? Regency AMC Godzilla KOTM - 356 (+62), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 78 (+24), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 15 (+5), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 184 (+8), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Great day for Godzilla. Still behind John Wick and Aladdin by about 30 tickets but not as bad as it seemed yesterday. Rocketman and SLOP2 had solid days relative to what they've been doing. Dark Phoenix is now behind Godzilla in presales. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Godzilla KOTM - 84 (+46), 7 screenings (+2 Regular) (3 Epic XL, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 9 (+9), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Godzilla grabs some tickets but is still way behind Aladdin at this theater. Hopefully walkups are big. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Godzilla KOTM - 23 (+14) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Grabbed a few tickets here but behind Aladdin again. Avenues Regal Cinemas Godzilla KOTM - 42 (0), 8 screenings (+3 4DX 3D) (3 4DX 3D, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 10 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 5 screenings (1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 33 (0), 7 screenings (2 4DX 3D, 1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Can't seem to get the Regal website to let me in, but Godzilla added some screens which is nice. Cinemark Tinseltown Godzilla KOTM - 295 (+113), 11 screenings (+1 3D, +4 Regular) (2 3D, 3 XD, 6 Regular) Rocketman - 45 (+14), 3 screenings (3 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 38 (+1), 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) WOW. Cinemark went off today. Overall I think Godzilla is in a good place. I just hope walkups are huge and wom is way better than the critics so we can overperform projections domestically since apparently Godzilla is gonna underperform big time in China if the Chinese presales thread here is to be believed. COME ON GODZILLA!
  5. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Godzilla KOTM - 227 (+30), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 60 (+10), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (+3), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 127 (+8), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Everybody had a pretty good day. Man those Godzilla reviews are killing my vibe man. But it still leads Aladdin by a pretty good amount. It's now behind John Wick though by like 10 tickets. 😕 Rocketman had a solid day, but it ain't coming close to Godzilla. SLOP2 quadrupled its presales today. Lolz. I'm worried about Dark Phoenix. Other than the Dolby and Fan showings it has almost no tickets sold. Regency AMC Godzilla KOTM - 294 (+24), 14 screenings (+4 Regular) (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 7 Regular) Rocketman - 54 (+16), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 10 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 176 (+5), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) I'm just gonna do the AMCs tonight cause I'm super tired and I'm in a sour mood. Can't see today as anything but a bad sign for Godzilla. Aladdin did 43 tickets last week compared to Godzilla's 24 at Regency. Also, John Wick had 355 tickets presold at this point in time which is 61 more than Godzilla. Damn it all.
  6. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Godzilla KOTM - 197 (+18), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 50 (+5), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 119 (+13), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla is killing Aladdin at this theater. Makes me feel good. Rocketman had another solid outing for itself and Dark Phoenix picked up some steam. Regency AMC Godzilla KOTM - 270 (+38), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 38 (+8), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 10 (+2), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 171 (+8), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) WHOA! And just like that Godzilla is back in it with 11 more tickets sold today than Aladdin last week. Rocketman had a pretty good day, SLOP2 sold a couple, and Dark Phoenix had another solid day. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Godzilla KOTM - 38 (+10), 5 screenings (+2 3D screenings) (3 Epic XL, 2 3D) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Godzilla is still mucho behind Aladdin at this theater but gained some tickets and a couple of screenings which is nice. Surprised Dark Phoenix still has a goose egg on the board. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Godzilla KOTM - 9 (+5) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Godzilla's behind in this theater too but not by much. These don't seem to do presales as much. Avenues Regal Cinemas Godzilla KOTM - 42 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 10 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 5 screenings (1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 33 (0), 7 screenings (2 4DX 3D, 1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cinemark Tinseltown Godzilla KOTM - 182 (+31), 6 screenings (1 3D, 3 XD, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 31 (+14), 3 screenings (3 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 33 (+3), 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) Let's go! Godzilla did big business today at most of the theaters. Especially the big ones. Hopefully it gets great reviews later today leading to bigger sales. I'm feeling great about this. Come on Godzilla! You can do it!
  7. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Godzilla KOTM - 179 (+8), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 45 (+5), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 106 (+3), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla had a slower day but is still 28 tickets ahead of Aladdin. Rocketman gained a respectable 5 tickets. SLOP2... this can't be good can it? Dark Phoenix still slowly moving forward and is now behind Godzilla by 11 tickets. Regency AMC Godzilla KOTM - 232 (+13), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 30 (+3), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 8 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 163 (0), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla has now fallen behind Aladdin by 19 tickets considering Aladdin sold 30 on this day last week. I have a feeling Godzilla is gonna continue to fall behind since this theater started getting 20+ tickets a day from here on out. Rocketman did ok. SLOP2 I'm super confused by. Do family films not presale at all? Dark Phoenix which has been selling really well at this theater didn't sell anything today. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Godzilla KOTM - 28 (0), 3 screenings (3 Epic XL) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Godzilla KOTM - 4 (0) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Avenues Regal Cinemas Godzilla KOTM - 42 (+2), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 10 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 5 screenings (1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 33 (0), 7 screenings (2 4DX 3D, 1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cinemark Tinseltown Godzilla KOTM - 151 (+12), 6 screenings (1 3D, 3 XD, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 17 (+2), 3 screenings (3 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 30 (0), 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) Welp. Not a lot of movement overall. Hopefully Godzilla sales start picking up like Aladdin's did last week.
  8. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Godzilla KOTM - 171 (+21), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 40 (-1), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 103 (0), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla had a fantastic day and is back to a 20 ticket lead on Aladdin. A terrible day for everyone else though as Rocketman lost a ticket, and SLOP2 and Dark Phoenix sold zilch. Also, Dark Phoenix has now fallen behind Godzilla even with the populated fan screening. Regency AMC Godzilla KOTM - 219 (+16), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 27 (+1), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 8 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 163 (+13), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla had another ok day and has fallen behind Aladdin by 2. Dark Phoenix is selling like hotcakes here for some reason. It is 24 ahead of where Godzilla was. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Godzilla KOTM - 28 (+2), 3 screenings (3 Epic XL) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Nothing to see here. Godzilla is behind Aladdin by 27 tickets here. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Godzilla KOTM - 4 (0) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) These little theater presales are bumming me out man. Avenues Regal Cinemas Godzilla KOTM - 40 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 10 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 5 screenings (1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 33 (0), 7 screenings (2 4DX 3D, 1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) 0 Thursday tickets sold today. And it's a fairly big theater. Smh. Cinemark Tinseltown Godzilla KOTM - 139 (+9), 6 screenings (1 3D, 3 XD, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 15 (+4), 3 screenings (3 Regular) SLOP2 - 16 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 30 (0), 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) *It's something meme* So, overall it was a meh day for ticket sales. The AMCs really dominate the presales in this area. A little disturbed by Godzilla's presales at Epic but we'll see what happens in the coming week. It's only on the PLF screens there so that might have something to do with Aladdin's large lead. Elsewhere, Godzilla is killing it at Orange Park and about even with Aladdin at Regency. Hopefully ticket sales really pick up this week. I NEED THE MONSTERVERSE TO CONTINUE!
  9. Sorry I didn't give out numbers yesterday. I was too tired. Lol. I'll add some theaters to make up for it though. Keep in mind these numbers are over 2 days instead of one. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Godzilla KOTM - 150 (+9), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 41 (+8), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 103 (+3), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Disappointed that Godzilla seems to have really slowed down at the beginning of its final week. Still ahead of Aladdin, but only by 12 tickets. To compare with Godzilla's 9 tickets, Aladdin got 26 tickets on these 2 days last week. They better release that embargo soon or I fear for opening weekend. Regency AMC Godzilla KOTM - 203 (+31), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 26 (+3), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 8 (+3), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 150 (+14), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla had an ok couple of days at Regency but now only leads Aladdin by 1 ticket. Aladdin had 41 tickets sold over these last couple of days compared to KOTMs 31. Dark Phoenix seems to be selling really well which puzzles me. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Godzilla KOTM - 26 (0), 3 screenings (3 Epic XL) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Literally no tickets sold today. Wow. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Godzilla KOTM - 4 (0) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) None here either. Avenues Regal Cinemas Godzilla KOTM - 40, 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 10, 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 16, 5 screenings (1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 33, 7 screenings (2 4DX 3D, 1 RPX 2D, 2 3D, 2 Regular) What a strange theater. Cinemark Tinseltown Godzilla KOTM - 130, 6 screenings (1 3D, 3 XD, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 11, 3 screenings (3 Regular) SLOP2 - 16, 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 30, 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) And that's it. Every other theater in the greater Jacksonville area either doesn't have reserved seating or they do but only sell them the week of.
  10. Not doing TOO good in Florida. Was behind JW3 in all of the theaters in Jacksonville that I'm tracking.
  11. Aladdin is behind JW3 in both the giant theaters in my area (Jacksonville FL), and KOTM is outselling it at this time last week at both theaters as well.
  12. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Aladdin - 220 (+30), 12 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 1 3D, 6 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla KOTM - 141 (+2), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 33 (+4), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 100 (+4), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Aladdin got another good haul, but is still behind JW3 but a good 42 tickets at the same point last week. Godzilla had a slow day but is still comfortably ahead of Aladdin at this point last week. Rocketman and Dark Phoenix both got a few tickets, with Dark Phoenix getting over 100 real quick. The fan screening is what's really pushing up sales. We'll see if it keeps it up. Regency AMC Aladdin - 368 (+47), 13 screenings (+2 3D, +3 Regular) (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 4 3D, 5 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 172 (+15), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 23 (+2), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 5 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 136 (+7), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Aladdin had another big day but is still behind JW3 by 24. Godzilla had a monster day about to head into its final week and is ahead of Aladdin in presales by a decent amount. I don't even know why I'm following Rocketman and SLOP2. lol. Dark Phoenix had another good day and is ahead of Godzilla at this point in its presales. Although, the fan screening filled up massively on Xmen Day so that might be a factor. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Aladdin - 120 (+29), 5 screenings (2 Epic XL, 1 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 26 (+7), 3 screenings (3 Epic XL) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Aladdin has another good day while Godzilla had a great day considering this theater's tendency to not get any presales before the week of. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Aladdin - 49 (+12) , 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 4 (0) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) So overall I'm definitely worried about Aladdin. It's preselling less than JW3 and given that the Disney remakes are usually light on walkups, memorial weekends bad reputation, the general meh reviews, and the terrible marketing... my hopes are less than high. Godzilla, on the other hand, is doing fantastic. Hopefully the reviews stay as crazy good as they've been and the monster movie walkup factor takes the film to a giant opening. Dark Phoenix is currently kicking ass and taking names, but the fan screenings that filled up on XMen Day are really packing most of its bite. We'll see if it keeps up the good sales. Rocketman is very very meh and SLOP2 is still a presale corpse. Don't know what to make of those.
  13. Hooo boy. Aladdin is literally teetering from rotten to fresh on RottenTomatoes right now. Rotten one minute, fresh the next. I actually think 1 or 2 reviews could be the difference in some of the strength of its legs. Big difference from marketing and wom saying "It's fresh on Rotten Tomatoes!" vs just ignoring it if it turns permanently rotten.
  14. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Aladdin - 190 (+36), 12 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 1 3D, 6 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla KOTM - 139 (+13), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 29 (+2), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 1 (+1), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 96 (+1), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Massive haul by Aladdin and KOTM had a fantastic day as well. Rocketman is doing the same thing and even SLOP2 got a ticket! Dark Phoenix was the only one that had a relatively bad day. Regency AMC Aladdin - 321 (+43), 13 screenings (+2 3D, +3 Regular) (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 4 3D, 5 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 157 (+10), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 21 (+2), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 5 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 129 (+10), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Aladdin got a huge 43 tickets today and added 5 more screenings. KOTM had a good day and Dark Phoenix had a great day with the same number of tickets sold. Rocketman scored a couple and SLOP2 got 0. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Aladdin - 91 (+17), 5 screenings (2 Epic XL, 1 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 19 (+3), 3 screenings (3 Epic XL) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Aladdin continues to grow while Godzilla got a few tickets as well. Any tickets preordered before the week of is a good sign at this theater. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Aladdin - 37 (+16) , 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 4 (0) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Aladdin is showing huge growth at all theaters. I don't know if this is just a by-product of the film opening in a couple of days or if it's about to have a huge opening. There are still a ton of unsold tickets and empty theaters, but the growth it's showing is impressive. Godzilla looks to be doing solid numbers as well. Everything else I have no idea.
  15. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Aladdin - 154 (+13), 12 screenings (+4 Regular) (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 1 3D, 6 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla KOTM - 126 (+9), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 27 (+2), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 95 (+6), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Aladdin is back on the board. KOTM had a good day and so did Dark Phoenix. Rocketman is still at a crawl and SLOP2 is dead until further notice. Regency AMC Aladdin - 278 (+27), 8 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 147 (+6), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 19 (0), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 5 (0), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 119 (+4), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Aladdin keeps getting those buckets while KOTM and Dark Phoenix get a few more tickets. SLOP2 and Rocketman... Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Aladdin - 74 (+15), 5 screenings (+2 Epic XL, +1 3D) (2 Epic XL, 1 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 16 (0), 3 screenings (3 Epic XL) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Other than Aladdin adding a few screens and tickets, nothing to see here. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Aladdin - 21 (+11) , 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 4 (0) , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 (0), 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 (0), 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Aladdin did more than double its total today. Lol. Otherwise nothing.
  16. I doubt Aladdin makes 100m OW. Based on the sales at the theaters I'm tracking, and also I work at Books A Million next to the theater and we get a lot of walk ins waiting for their movie. I make it a point to ask them about which movies they're excited for and I get a lot of Lion King, Spiderman, Toy Story, and Godzilla but never Aladdin. Most of the people I ask about Aladdin are buying Disney merchandise and most say they'll skip it or wait til it leaves theaters cause it doesn't look good. I think the marketing for Aladdin has hurt it immensely.
  17. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Aladdin - 141 (0), 8 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 1 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla KOTM - 117 (+9), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 25 (0), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular SLOP2 - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 89 (+3), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) I counted twice but Aladdin literally sold 0 tickets today at the OP AMC. Yikes. Rocketman and SLOP2 also put up goose-eggs. Dark Phoenix has still slowed. KOTM had a great day with 9 tickets sold. Regency AMC Aladdin - 251 (+30), 8 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 141 (+4), 10 screenings (3 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 3 Regular) Rocketman - 19 (+1), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular) SLOP2 - 5 (+1), 5 screenings (2 3D, 3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 115 (+7), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Regency's Aladdin numbers keep going up by the bucketload. KOTM had a slower day and Dark Phoenix had a nice pick-me-up. SLOP2 and Rocketman both got 1 ticket. Epic Theatres at Oakleaf Aladdin - 59 (+4), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 16 (0), 3 screenings (3 Epic XL) Rocketman - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) SLOP2 - 4 (0), 3 screenings (3 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Doesn't look like Oakleaf preorders too far out. NewVision 12 at Fleming Island Aladdin - 10 , 4 screenings (2 3D, 2 Regular) Godzilla KOTM - 4 , 3 screenings (3 Regular) Rocketman - 0 , 0 screenings SLOP2 - 0 , 0 screenings Dark Phoenix - 1 , 2 screenings (2 Regular) Didn't realize the theater closest to me started doing seat reservations til today so I'll start keeping track of that theater too.
  18. Only Thursdays Orange Park AMC Aladdin - 141 (+6), 8 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 1 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Godzilla KOTM - 108 (+4), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 1 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular) Rocketman - 25 (N/A), 3 screenings (1 Dolby, 2 Regular SLOP2 - 0 (0), 2 screenings (2 Regular) Dark Phoenix - 86 (+2), 8 screenings (1 IMAX, 2 Dolby, 2 3D, 2 Regular, 1 Fan Event) Decided to do Rocketman too cause why not? Dark Phoenix has slowed considerably. Aladdin is doing ok. Godzilla is still chugging along. Hopefully it gets a bump from the premier. SLOP2 is still dead. 20. I think "X-Men Day" got a lot of people to buy tickets. Pretty much every star who has ever been in an X-Men film tweeted about it creating some interest. And also it was announced all of the X-Men comics are being soft-rebooted to become a more prominent part of Marvel which might have created some excitement. Pretty much everyone I know that's talked about has said it looks terrible so idk.
