Is anyone even talking about the characters or the world of this movie? Nah, it's only about dem numbers for Na'vi bros! 😄
-
I kind of agree with that and at least it's not early Jan like so many thought before.

Yep she's been chasing that Oscar high since I, Tonya. I wouldn't be so sure about Barbie being a massive success based on film twitter, but she will be fine even if it bombs. Acting-wise she may not be as gifted as her peers but she's like Hollywood's favorite blonde they had been waiting on for decades!

Official IMAX channel uploaded the old teaser of Pathan lol. Not with the IMAX ratio though!

You know Bang Bang! is considered a solid hit when the director was handed the keys to YRF's spy universe despite BB not being from YRF. Also, BB made 180 crores in 2014 which isn't bad by any means. I don't think anyone expected it to surpass Kick that year, it was peak Salman in a mass-y action role lol.
That being said, BB is more re-watchable than War. Even War wasn't completely original as it rips-off from Bond, MI, FnF and War(2007) with Statham and Jet Li. It was just a two hero film done well in Bollywood after ages. -
I don't see anyone outside of film twitter talk about First Man and even on there it's not popular like say, BR2049 lol. Most people even forgot there was a WSS remake released last year.

Man Tiger Zinda Hai was a beast box office wise. I watched the first one on Prime Video last month and it still holds up! Everything from action, comedy, songs to locations were top notch. Hoping the third one is as good!
I hope YRF doesn't ruin the only good thing they have. Never would have thought Bang Bang! from 2014 would define the next decade of Bollywood blockbusters while watching it. It was a fun remake of Knight and Day with some banger songs. HR was like Pierce Brosnan and Tom Cruise altogether lol. Pathan doesn't look nowhere near as good despite having the same director and style.- 2

With this franchise they give some dumbass reason like she was faking it or was saved by Statham's character lol.

Gadot is looking out regardless of any claims to the contrary
Wow never would have expected that. Maybe she's happy playing the spy in Netflix movies and she still has that Snow White live action with Disney. -
I like how everyone went from "this is an easy $2B movie" to "anything near it is good!".

Also just so you know, The Jungle Book ran for 22 weeks in India, although collections after 9 weeks were miniscule, it kept collecting over 1 crs for 9 weeks.
The Jungle Book Weekend was 40 and Lifetime was 188, that's a 4.7x multiplier.
Jungle Book cartoon was huge there and Disney literally got the voice actors who dubbed for the cartoon there in the 90s for the movie. -
Nolan was really wise to leave WB before it was too late. With all their on-going drama who knows how they would have messed the marketing and theatrical window of this movie!

Damn, India really carrying Avatar 2. How long before Cameron casts Salman Khan and SRK in the Avatars?
-
Jumanji 3 would have made some serious monies if it had released this December. Not sure what's taking them so long, maybe they realized the second one was just a lazy rehash of the first? 🤔

He's being the next James Gunn on twitter it seems.

I'm expecting domestic to be on the higher side like last couple of MCU movies. Also, AMaTW had the World Cup and MI: Fallout to deal with back in July 2018.
