It's unwatchably bad. David Leitch is a hack. All his movies are bad and underperform yet he still gets $130M to make more (and that's the reported budget, we know how studios love to deflate budgets to the press)

Emily Blunt came off so unlikable in that video where she obnoxiously mocks a nice waitress' weight and American accent. You could see even the (male) host's face fall while she was telling the "joke" like wtf. Made me look at her a different way.

Not to mention, it's pretty great for what is not a very well-liked movie. Most re-releases are for beloved classics.

Drab, dull, grey, overlong, ugly to look at, and very pleased with its own non-existent charm. The whole rhythm of the movie felt off. There was no spark. This is a movie for adult fans of Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift. 2/10

What a drab, dull, ugly movie Fall Guy is. Walked out halfway through, something I haven't done in ages. It's so high on its own non-existent charm. There is zero spark between the leads. The whole rhythm of the movie is just...off. Just interminable torture. I hope The Phantom Menace tears it apart today.

Cruise hasn't been a draw outside of MI and TG in ages and he knows it. The Mummy, Valkarie, Knight & Day, Jack Reacher, American Made, Oblivion, even the great Edge of Tomorrow...none of them set the b.o. on fire.

Yeah idk where ppl are getting Mummy from. Even Deep Impact did early May before Mummy. As much as I'd like to give Mummy the credit (it's better than Twister), it didnt start it.

I Saw the TV glow is an unmitigated disaster. I'm convinced that the A24 logo can elevate a movie's RT score by a good 20-30%. What a clusterfuck of a movie. It's honestly worse than Tarot.

If people are surprised that Gosling and Blunt are weak draws, they'll be in for a rude awakening when Margot Robbie's next movie drops.

Honestly 2.55m for Tarot isn't a disaster considering those reviews. And obv it cost way more than 8m (all you need to do to know that is watch the movie and not be really clueless) but still could have been worse

Just rewatched Speed for it's 30th anniversary. It holds up amazingly well, the bus sequence is still A++++ and the train one has a great ending button of a line, but we always forget the elevator sequence which has a great build of suspense and would be a classic sequence on it's own before the rest of the movie completely overshadows it.
The funniest shot in the movie is definitely the insert shot of the airline towing guy running away from the explosion to assure the audience that no one died.
With the right marketing campaign and the killer hook again, feel like Speed could still do great at the box office now.
I watched it on the big screen last week. So cool seeing an action movie where everything is done in camera, and where the stars have real chemistry, even if Keanu can't act. Great theatrical experience.

I also think people watched BARBIE because of his great portrayal of Ken and not necessarily because Ken is a known character.
Yeah, people forget Reynolds was pretty much flopping for a decade until Proposal saved him (carried by Bullock), and then came Deadpool (carried by the character).
