Who saw the Bollywood action film Pathaan landing at #5 for the weekend based on its estimated Friday number of $1.87 million (with a $8.4 million (!!!) 5-day total). I sure didn't.

Crazy impressive - I'm seeing a lot of nearly-full and even some sellouts in the major cities. In my local town of less than 50,000 people here in central PA, the next two showings are nearly sold out.

Imagine how much this film would have grossed if it had been in 2,000 + locations - it could have made it to #2 or $3 behind Avatar!

Should Day 3 of Pathan not Thursday?

    and Day 4 as Friday?

So many stories this weekend, but for me the most important is that Top Gun Maverick finally felt out of the top10 in its 22nd weekend.

Incredible run that sadly comes to an end

are you sure it will be out of the top 10 even after the final numbers come in?

It has a great record of bouncing back in final numbers.

  6. So with some new movies showing, NWH has lost its steam. But it managing to cross 800M during Omicron is definitely an amazing feat.

Uncharted showed some good hold in last 2 weekends but it is also seeing some steep drop this weekend.

Maybe with no more spring break/long weekend, a few more movies grabbing screens, it may be a harsher drops for the movies  for next couple of weeks.

  7. Uncharted holding better than NWH especially in drop from Last Week

Hope to see NWH crossing 800M this weekend
