With good reviews JL can make(much) more than BvS.
Well, JL's gonna be directed by the guy who made MoS and BvS so I hope you don't expect 80+% on RT. Plus it's clear a lot of GA and fans don't like BvS so why they should return for JL (when BvS is already JL 0.9)?
-
Personally would say that Batfleck's solo (if directed by Ben himself or someone like George Miller) with Leto's Joker as main villain will beat Snyder's JL.
-
Well, I'd bet on BvS losing to TDKR worldwide plus it's not exactly well-received and they already introduced Wonder Woman so don't expect any increase (outside of China) for JL.

What we can expect now? 30-33% on WED and 10-12% on THU?

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL at Warners.

BvS' opening day jsut 60K ahead of Jurassic World and 1.2M ahead of The Avengers. Very funny, WB. No doubt actuals will drop by few millions.

475M max from North America + China. Hmm, 1B WW could be tight.

BOM say 63M.

It's not Green Lantern-bad but after I was reading for 14-15 years about this concept... this final product is very dissapointing. Affleck, Irons and Gadot are great, Eisenberg is just over-the-top and Cavill's still wooden. Snyder's directing and Terrio's script... TRASH.

$20m opening day for Batman v Superman in China. Average WOM, so probably looking at just $120m total.
Would that total be in line with expectations?
I remember a lot of 200-250M predictions and then 150-180M after KFP3...

Didn't enjoy S1 that much but S2 is just AMAZING!

Cheap CGI, crap cinematography, awful Toby Kebbell and Morgan Freeman's ridiculous haircut - this movie looks like complete trash.

The-Numbers has been catching up on their charts lately, releasing 2 charts per week and are now about 4 weeks behind which is still behind what they used to do in the past (2 weeks).
Movies from September and October (Maze Runner, Martian, SOC, HT2) are popping up on the charts with tepid HV sales that will end up between 20M$ and 40M$ each once all is said and done.
The next few weeks should see bigger movies being released on HV:
The Peanuts Movie - 40M$ potential
Spectre - 50M$ potential (could be as low as 40M$ - definitely won't reach QoS's current 61M$)
Hunger Games MJ2 - 50M$-60M$ potential (could be as low as 40M$)
The Good Dinosaur - 50M$ potential (should recoup its bad DOM BO on HV...hopefully)
Alvin 4 - 35M$ potential
Star Wars - 150M$-200M$ potential (tricky prediction - this should definitely be better than JW's 125M$, but how high can it go?)
Fun trivia, in the last 5 years, only 3 blockbusters sequels were able to outgross their previous entries on HV.
Fast and Furious 6 (131M$) over Fast 5 (70M$)
Skyfall (100M$) over Quantum of Solace (61M$)
Sherlock Holmes 2 (87M$) over Sherlock Homes (86M$)
Exceptions
Men of Steel (106M$) outgrossed Superman Returns (86M$) but this was a reboot
X-Men Days of Future Past (73M$ over X-Men First Class (67M$) ------ although it didn't outgross X-Men The Last Stand (146M$)
Rio 2 finished with 52M and Mr. Peabody & Shermanwith 29M. And that was two years ago. So personally don't think The Good Dinosaur will make more than 20-25M. Also would say that Spectre will finish under 40M.

S1 - 9/10
S2 - 7/10

Yeah, I think I'm done with House of Cards. This really became repetitive and over-the-top / idiotic. But really liked Kinnaman and his storyline.
-
Eva's amazing but I just have no interest in Tim Burton anymore.
-
Reactions here are fine, to be honest.
-
Didn't know Tim Miller made this DC Universe Online Intro. WB, it's still time...
-
So it's bigger than all X-Men movies, 4/5 Spider-Man movies, 9/12 MCU movies and Man of Steel. That's just unbelievable.
-
No suprise here. Sequels to comedies always suck and after dissapointments with Anchorman 2, Meet the Fockers, Hangover 2 or Fack ju Gohte 2... No, this time I won't ruin my memories of the first movie.

I kind of felt the same way. I have this spot probably third out of all the movie ones. Not that is wasn't good, but it did feel the kind of been there before vibe. But I have no doubt the movie should be pretty good
Absolutely agree. The movie will be very good just... I'm not excited to see something I already saw.

Yeah, I guess 55-58M is realistic. And honestly before BvS Snyder directed six movies - four of them had 2nd weekend drop over 60%.
