    Ummm how is that? Without Avengers this opens below IM2, instead it's going to beat it by $30m OW. Pretty big "effect" if you ask me.

    It didn't far exceed attendance on the other entries (in fact it lost to HP1 correct?) so I say pretty good finish.

    The finale was ALWAYS going to be huge though dude, the fact that no one argued that made its performance less legendary.

    It grossed $125m the weekend AFTER midnights, not exactly impressive when that first # is $43.5m (which yes is very impressive 3D or not)

    Topping it how? In terms of BO or quality of movie? Because after OD BO wise it was rather weak and the quality of the film itself was alright.

    Most fun, crazy OW is TA. When we starting hearing Saturday #s, this place basically exploded. Don't see that kind of hype being replicated for years.

    That collapse from HP is pretty epic, from $43.5 midnights to just $125.6m rest of weekend. Such horrendous multiplier but to be expected burning off that much demand. Still I remember loonies saying $200 m was a possibility.
