Heck, I'm a big SW fan (more than HP), but I think I'll give DH the win here. It's simply a better execution.

Wow - quite impressive!

I fancy myself as an amateur musician.I wrote & recorded a song, only to discover (after reading the books) that it would be a good fit for this film.Well, that is if anyone else liked progressive metal. ;)All I have is a demo, with some pretty sub-par singing. If you're interested, here is a cheezy video I made for the song (none of the visuals are mine; they are from fan THG vids on youtube): I'm not sure how well this will play directly from the link - yo may wish to download it to your hard drive first.http://www.jeremyrace.com/videos/TMDGC.wmvEnjoy.... or at least I hope it doesn't make you puke.

FWIW, I was suprised to discover she was 18. I didn't know her age when I saw the film, and figured her to be 13-14.Seen trailers. She definitely doesn`t look 12 but 12+ 6 at least. And synopsis says her character is 12.

This is the first film I've seen India in. I thought she did alright - why the venom? Did she do a flick with Miranda Otto?I think it`s inflated by the fact that Selene wasn`t in #3 since it was a prequel. If UA came out after UE it would most likely drop due to lack of Scott Speedman. But this way,m fans who boycotted #3 are now back in force. Still, Bitch India should turn people off so I guess that the movie would have done even better if it had Kate + Scott and no Bitch India.

Looks like Red Dawn got left off of last week's list. I had it at #9, so it should have at least 2 votes, right?

That was unexpected... in a good way. Very interesting.

Hmmm... still undeided on the quality of the premise. I'm sure I'll go see it.
-
I think it's wise to keep expectations in check, but I'm still hopeful.

Kristen Stewart plays someone who is supposed to be prettier than Charlize Theron?
Come on.

I thought it was quite good. Granted, I've read the books, so I knew what was going on.A follow-up with more of the actual games seems natural.
