It seems like this movie and Dirty Dancing was watched by every girl I know. I know my sister always watched this when we were kids and I've seen it multiple times myself. I find the film fairly entertaining and the songs are very good. One issue I've always had is I preferred the look of good girl Sandy to bad girl Sandy. But I've had a crush on Olivia Newton John because of this movie. B+

Twas a long time before I saw the "real" version on premium cable and realized how dirty the lyrics for "Greased Lightning" actually were.

 

Love this movie, although the "change who you are for someone you like" message is not great and the stars are all way too old to be playing teenagers, though that's kind of part of the charm. Great soundtrack.
