I've had a love hate relationship with this film, mostly love though. For one, I feel like I should hate it based on the fact that it is basically made for no other reason than to make tons of money for Disney. But I'm surprised to see that this is probably the best out of all of the Disney sequels made, not as good as The Rescuers Down Under but still really strong.

Pros:

-Retains the same art-style of the original

-Patrick Stewart, the best part of the movie

-Good choice on what plot to focus on, Bambi's relationship with his father as it is ambiguous in the original

-Decent Pacing

-Voice Actors sound similar to their 1942 counterparts

-Phenomenal Soundtrack to accompany the film

-Bambi and Faline's relationship feels very laid back and relaxed compared to the original and they have a genuine chemistry with one another, though I wish it was given more time! :)

-The villain cracked me up a bit. He was decent, for Disney Sequel standards of course.

-Fairly decent humor (side-gags especially)

-That Porcupine is my bro!!!

Cons:

-Wish it was longer

-Thumper acts like kind of an asshole sometimes especially to HIS BEST FRIEND!!!

-Fairly Predictable at times

-Smaller budget=Somewhat cheap animation

-Lots of eye roll moments like The Groundhog scene

B/B+
