A solid slasher film.

 

Similar in premise to My Bloody Valentine (which coincidentally came out the same year): a dude is pissed that some kids are having a party. Some nice gruesome kills, courtesy of makeup maestro Tom Savini. One kill in particular, involving a pitchfork and a naked body, is a standout. If one is going to compare it with MBV, then Valentine has a cooler killer and cooler setting, while The Prowler has better kills and some nudity. Overall, I'd say MBV is the better picture tho.
