somebody85
Had never heard the true story before, so found this story totally fascinating on a psychological level. Rebecca Hall gives one of the best performances of 2017 and does a ton of acting without saying a word. Handled bondage and the S&M lifestyle with grace and quite a few scenes are pretty sexy here because all of the actors fully commit. The way each of the woman's personalities, looks, etc. ties into Wonder Woman's creation is really cool. They start off pretty subtle at first and it was kind of like unlocking a puzzle before they became glaring. Also had no idea that this trio created the lie detector test - and damn did they make those scenes work. I did want to see more of the creation of the comic but the relationship alone made the run time fly by. But it does become a bit too Hollywoodized at times with an over use of emotional score pieces which it didn't need. Kind of reminded me of The Theory Of Everything in that aspect. Definitely underrated, got missed by a lot of people and deserves to be seen. B+ Edited January 19, 2018 by somebody85
