Blankments Posted February 1, 2018 Share Posted February 1, 2018 The Stray is a horrible mess. There's really nothing good about it in any sense. However, for the first hour or so, it's a solid hatewatch, being so inept in any form of filmmaking or even storytelling that it's downright hilarious. Unfortunately after the film reaches the "in media res" moment, it falls apart mainly thanks to taking that adorable dog out of the story. The Stray is bad, and honestly, I should be rating it worse than it, but that dog is so cute I can't. Give me The Stray 2: Pluto's Revenge please.
