Tomb Raider (2018)

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. There were some action/racing/chase scenes that weren´t showed in the trailers that give the movie a good pace.

 

And I think this was a really well written movie. In the first scene with Alicia Vikander you know what type of character she is, and when we´re introduced to the villain in his first scene we already sense some threatening, he doesn´t act villainy and he doesn´t pretend to be a good guy, if you know what I mean. I think this was very unexpectedly brilliant.

 

Lara Croft was an awesome character in this and Alicia killed it.

 

This was not only the best video game adaptation but a really good movie that deserved much better reviews, just like previous Warner Bros blockbusters like The Legend of Tarzan and King Arthur. I don´t know why these movies keep being so underrated.
