Fincher does a great job of making a movie that feels a product of the time in which it depicts, but it feels a bit hollow. Gary Oldman is terrific but I have to say Amanda Seyfried was the real standout of this: the movie feels most alive whenever she is on screen. It's interesting but overall not gonna go down as one of my favorites from the director. B
