Neo
The director is iffy, but the writer (at least one of them) has wrote some good scripts, so don't rule this one out yet.
Kadence
Rome probably did it better. Still, not familiar with the novels and if they are good it should do OK.
fishstick
This is going to suck because they`ll cast some girly teen idol as Caesar. Percy Jackson, bloody Sam Claflin or bryan Singer`s main squeeze or someone from the same Ken factory.
Neo
Mark Canton Describes 'Emperor' Adaptation As 'Braveheart' Meets 'Twilight' There are four books that we're doing with Nigel Sinclair's company, that are a take on the life of Julius Caesar and Brutus from the time they were 20. And they have that thing that all 20-year-olds who watch MTV do, which is to believe that they can take over the world, which they did.The movie will be Braveheart meets Dangerous Liasons with a little Twilight. Canton also said the Steers has some Ridley Scott tendencies. Edited November 11, 2011 by Neo
