I don't get wehre this TDKR was a mess stuff comes from. It has an 87 percent on rotten tomatoes and is in the nintnies for audience reception on RT. It also had a 2.7 multiplier which is good for a a sequel to a very anticipated film. Sure, it had flaws and wasn't as good as TDK but in no way was it a mess. -

I meant the multiplier not the gross. The gross is impressive.

IT will probably have a 2.4-2.5 multiplier of it's 117 OW and then you add 12 million ot that to get around 290-306 million. Not Great for a reeboot. but good enough. The OW was inflated because of father's day and WB had an AMAZING marketing campaign for the film, makign it able to open to such a huge number.

Although I wish they would get rid of Snyder and Goyer,I think WB is just going to keep the same team. This film is successful so they might not want to change it up.

I agree that the WOM is obviously not as great as some people here seem to think. A movie with great WOM would be able to withstand competition. However 2 65+ openers definitely hurt it.

64% drop for MOS. Hopefully next week is better. The Heat and WHD won't open ad big as MU and WWZ so I can see a less than 50% drop.

We'll have to wait until next weekends drop but as of now I think MOS will get to 310 max.

Yeah although I like the Donner films, i think it's the interpration they chose that make people think he is a lame villain. They could portray him like they did in the animated series.

I don't know. That's probably it. But I've never been a fan of mindless action films and although MOS definitely wasn't mindless, there were some parts that just seemed like "insert action scene here." And it got to the point where the action scenes were going on forever.

The action scenes were way to repetitive though. I think it needs new direction as well.
