You never know. That sort of action would set a precedence that could hurt WB down the line. They would be looking at this long term.These sorts of things usually get resolved anyway because nobody benefits, like the theatre chains threatening to not show Alice due to the shortened release.

They wouldn't dare piss off Warner Bros with TDKR coming. That will end up being the biggest IMAX film ever. Nobody benefits from that sort of situation.

First IMAX lose THG for WOTT and now they lose Avengers for Emos.They must be pissed. That's two missed opportunities now. I guess TDKR makes up for it...

Just savour it now because according to RTX (not Rth) The Avengers will lose all of it's IMAX screens and Dark Shadows will take the female audience. It will make 68M next weekend.(sad face)

Rth gave an estimate of 56-61M for Sunday. The OW will be 205-210M.
