That's not true. One time it was up, up, up and then doooowwwwwnnn.I'm pissed. Nikki/THR did nothing but revise down with their THG estimates. With Avengers it's up, up, up.

Wait a minute, who here said it would challenge Avatar or Titanic or TDK?I never knew movie grosses had a limit. I thought if they got an A+ cinemascore then they would make 500M+ guaranteed.I think people get this and this seems like an overreaction. I would be happy with 400M-odd. I'm not even thinking about anything beyond that right now regardless of the cinemascore.
-
I really didn't think it was going to get a release there.
-
That's not what people were saying and it honestly seems like you are trying to talk it down. You may have, you may not. I group all the posts together because they all seem to be making the same point.OMG A+ must guarantee great legs better than every other film, tied with only 52 others.

A lot of those are from the 80's and 90's. It certainly doesn't happen every day.

Justice League would be awesome. WB will be looking on with interest.Yep. Justice League would be very cool.

DH2 and THG both got A's. Don't really remember A+ cinemascores recently.Honestly can anyone find the last movie that had an A+ cinemascore? I'm looking and I can't find one

How much they liked it is factored in. That's what the average rating is for.Yeah i mean its good, but its not a masterpiece or anything. Its no TDK either. Remember that the RT score is a % of who liked it, how much they liked it isnt factored in. I really liked it after seeing it, but now ive had a week to think about it i like it less.

We wil have official estimates in a few hours. They will be closer to the actual. So no another Friday unpdate I guess. Tomorrow we will have Sat estimates.
-
They are all estimates until MondayFriday number?

I sure hope so. THG, TA, TDKR and TH were my four most anticipated films at the start of the year. Having all four hitting 400M would be brilliant.First year with 4 400m+ films?
-
Hope THG gets to about 7M for the weekend. That would be a 35% drop. I want 400M dammit!

THG is still 3rd.No other major pic dared go up against this juggernaut. The holdovers will only total $50M this weekend which is looking like $210M — or +33% over last year.
