I saw this in front of Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse. There were two faith based movie trailers and this was one of them.

This clearly going to be the Father Figures of this year. The official winner of the annual Christmas Casualty sweepstakes.
Actually this is more of the Downsizing of the year. Father Figures is the Holmes and Watson of the year.

No, as was just reported above, Netflix bought it.
Or do you mean coming out on Netflix?
Sorry, I didn't see that status. My bad. It makes sense considering there was no advertisement for the film but I saw it listed on Box Office Mojo as well and had to ask.
-
Is this movie still coming out in January?
-
According to Box Office Mojo, this will be opening in 1,900 theaters
-
The late review doesn't give me much hope this will be good. I really do want this to be good and not Downsizing. I'm still upset Downsizing was as bad as it was.

So is there a reason why Bill Hadar is uncredited for this movie? Like, he plays a big enough supporting role in this, it's kind of surprising.

I'm shocked this film is coming to my local regal. We usually never get these so i'm definitely gonna try and go.

There hasn't been a good Will Ferrell movie since Anchorman 2, which was ultimately forgettable as no one was quoting that movie like the first one. And this new movie coming from the director of Get Hard instead of Step Brothers does not inspire confidence.
I loved Anchorman 2. I still find it really funny.

I like the concept but i'm assuming it's terrible cause it's the first weekend of January.
-
I feel like I haven't seen much advertisement for this or felt the buzz.
-
It looks interesting

This trailer looks much better then whatever WB was doing and it's sad that these effects won't be seen on the big screen. I really wish Netflix gave us numbers on views.

So I manage at our local movie theater and today we got a ton of movie trailers in, including this one and I kinda freaked out when I saw it listed. Since I build the movies, i'm more then likely going to try and attach this trailer with as many films as possible lol

Which movies made you think... what were they thinking, when it comes to the budget??
This flop rom com comes to mind
How Do You Know
Domestic Total Gross: $30,212,620 Distributor: Sony / Columbia Release Date: December 17, 2010 Genre: Comedy / Drama Runtime: 1 hrs. 56 min. MPAA Rating: PG-13 Production Budget: $120 million That budget made no sense. Also I actually was one person who somewhat enjoyed that movie.

The only thing Entertainment Studios has made that's worth wild is the Chappaquiddink. Everything else the studio has touched is bad, the name and logo is generic.

So this film actually came out today despite no advertisement in only 544 theaters.

But................................Why?

This looks very dated from the tv ads

God, this movie is going to be pure trash.

So I was at the NYCC Panel where they showed the first 24 minutes and be honest, I honest to god can't tell if it will be good. The footage they showed was kinda this one giant action piece but it's also setting up a lot of characters that I honestly don't know if their going to get the screen time to develop them. I really enjoy the look of the film, but i'm curious how their going to promote this when we get closer to the release date. It could be a little jarring for GA.
I was at the 20th Century Fox panel as well where they showed footage for Dark Phoenix and Alita: Dark Angel and the footage they showed for both, made me more exited then what I saw for Mortal Engines.- 2

I keep forgetting this film is coming out. I haven't seen any promotion for this at all. and this comes out in less then 2 weeks?? Is Sony burying this?

I think so. All I remember is that both trailers sucked and I rolled my eyes a lot.
