Maybe someone should tell Ozy how big the snow storms affecting one of the biggest suppliers of bo loot.. And guess what Avatar had a 10x multiplier. I expect a 5.2-7x or better multipliern for Avatar 2 domestically. Some haters are really going to lose their minds as bo reigns dont hold up even a year in A2s wake. While Avatar was champ for 10 yrs. And may still be champ even after this year. Titanic was champ for 13 years. And still is the supreme bo champ in one run with achievements that are untouchable.. This is our land! -
I suggest you look at jimbos and others news post. Explain 80mow and all.those holds and a 71-74 m ow2. Storms to me cost Avatar at least 60-80mil. Seems those people would have gotten there sooner if not for those storms. Sorry No Jedis, no rings, no comic films can have holds like that period. And the film kept.breaking expectations for many weeks after that untouchable 2nd weekend hold 😉

Good post on those thinking we were kidding.that Avatar 2 could beat Titanics ww tally maybe from just the domestic and China alone. There are some saying A2 will easily range between 1.1-1.3b from China alone with this deal. Holy ###@@@ Only.Cameron gets these things done baby! Yeah! Avatar if not for snow storms would have had a160-180 m ow and a 7x multi or better in 2009. And guess what its a.mega movie and still had the smallest drop in movie history from its 80m ow in history. Avatars 2nd weekend was 72-73 m I think( nearly made the same amount this its first Ow made-wowzers). Which mega film you know pulled that awesome hold( only Cameron's own Titanic) So what you just stated makes no sense. Avatar would have made potentially 860-/900 mil in 2009 if not for the huge storms hitting the east side and other areas. Thats serious fandom when you come out during weather diasters for a Cameron event. Imagine if all is well with mother nature domestic and os for the entire run of this pending Juggernaut. Its almost like we should just add Cameron back into all time domestic and os 1st, 2nd and 3rd places from now.👍 So yes indeed a Cameron movie averages 6-20x range.multipliers. You give your fans an experience beyond Avatar a 5-7x multi is definitely possible. Best look at how Cameron shatters the mold for true monsters domestically and abroad Mr Wang😎 No.matter the franchise they are merely only movies. The cameron experience is something else entirely as seen in the repeat business time and time again. Now with the markets big enough to house Pandora power, expect to.potentially see A2 surpass 2 billion from.just 3-6countries. NA, China, Japan. Not 15, not2a 5 but 3-6 is all required. Right on Iron Jimbo. Cant wait to see if we have an another Avatar Day in 2020 again and what it means for how big an OW Avatar 2 will put up. Imagine a 220-300 m ow for this monster but folks keep going back and we see such a giant ow. with 5.5x multiplier.or better. That is difference between A2 and all the pretenders to the throne. Ahhh I hear you. But on the novelty that general 3d movie use is tired. See thats just it , James doesnt use 3d like a gimic( though it has certainly benefited avengers, transformers and other films at the bo) JC is about innovation, he will use surround 3d and sounds, practical real time effects and proably even help push more of those awesome theaters to be used. Aka the seat movement, smells, realistic weather effects of 4dx where available and more. Cameron always figures a way to blow our socks off by combining technology with a compelling story that just creates magic and his loyal fans and newbies flock his work. Remember, he's the idol of the director of lotr, The matrix brothers, dir of forrest gump, del Toro, the Mist director, M. bay and so many innovative directors for a reason Peludo. You will see. JC is the Yoda of film making my friend.

Dont see how you came to that conclusion Peludo. In much smaller markets Titanic killed it ( still the greatest bo run in history) and 12 years later so did Avatar. Not to mention the India and japanese fbooks for the Avatar have 50 plus mil fans a piece. And my co workers who are asian decent saying they stay talking about this movie and it sequels in not only Japan but all cross Asia as well. Clearly it points to that James Cameron gets attendance that other Us films don't😉. Heck we may come close or beat the Uks bond numbers. Simply put if your statement dont fit , we must then acquit. 👍 Avatar 2 will blow away everything. Obviously if its a 300 m ow, the multiplier wont be a 10.. But 4x plus multi is still better than any blockbuster in this era. How big are James Camerons epics from the rest. His titanic had a 20x mulitplier. 😎. T2 had a 7x multi. Any questions. Basically Avatar 2 lowend 880-940m domestic and highend 970-1.28b. OS low-end 2.6bill, High-end os 3.2b. Thanks Venom and very nice but it seems comic films are having a hard time getting over the 100-170 m hurdle in Japan and Sk for a while now. Did Tranformers or FA or any marvel film hit 120-150m in Japan? Eg is going for 90-115 in Japan or better?

Yes indeed and that number can be reached Venom. Have faith in fellow fans and we are large and coming from Titanic, Avatar, Terminator 2 and more. I feel we will not be denied. Im excited that this could be another 250-320 m ow in the making and it will be the biggest for JC and imagine if it gets an average JC 7- 10x +multiplier from that 220-300 plusow??? 1.2-1.5b domestic potential or dare I say better??? I'm feeling EG may hit an amazing 590-630m mark in China NC. Exciting times..The holidays are over this week so its.going to take a big hit in the weeks to come. But boy what China can do for the mega movies now is scary.

But fellow bo fans I'm enjoying a run fuelled by 22 films and 10 yrs of inflation and a China market that has increase 10 times since 2009 that finally has a chance to beat the champ..lol. Or does it😉 Oh and big claps for EG being the biggest ever USA film in the China. End game has surpassed the 500m USD at the bo mark.👍👍 Avengers Assemble!
