Yeah just saw that most of the tc drops was in the 35-40% range, steep but expected with the 4 new major releases. Curios to see how EX2 and BL holds for the weekend.Words will lose half its theaters.

SO MUCH FUN!!!!It is so refreshing to see a movie so gloriously violent.
Nice. Planning on seeing it Saturday. How full was the theater?just got back from a midnight showing on the westcoast and was pretty f'ing cool. Agreed^^^ a lot of fun. Urban is a badass and the girl - olivia thirlby- ended up being pretty badass too, thought she did a good job. Hope this movie can make enough for a sequel-it deserves to. I'd love to see more stories in the future they created for this movie...the crazy huge living buildings are pretty nuts along with just the griminess of the mega city. Also, Dredds gun is awesome!

No complaints here. These movies kind of needed something to break for them. Let's see if this continuesThat's the strangest thing. These same holdovers and all or most of them are still in the top 10, lol. Bourne and Campaign are over a month old.

Fans definitely seem to be loving it and that's good enough by me. What would be better is if the audience expands into genre audience.meh. I don't know about box office break out, lol. It definitely has a limited audience and on top of that it's rated R. The fact that the audience it does have seem to love it and/or already on board with it will give it the edge over Premium Rush, imo. At least it would seem that way.

The Words and Lawless jumps are pretty damn high. Wish EX2 and BL had the same jumps

Really!? Guess I'll take that as a good sign. Looking for a surprise in the BO. It's been kind of disappointing for the new releases lately...LOL This is one of the few movies who's ratings have gone up instead of down on IMDB.

So going by that chart, correct me if I'm wrong, TA made about ¥200M/$1.9M during the week.
The prior week as of 9/9 it looks like it made ¥310M/$4.35M?
Am I reading the charts wrong or is the dollar conversion off?
The drop off still looks like it's 33%. Not bad.

BOM looks like they don't have all the official OS numbers yet. The "as of" dates for some countries are still a little old and the country list doesn't include China at all but if you add the estimate from China of 40M you get close to 186M OS.those country totals given add up to $144,5m

Almost all the kids flicks increased. Movie time for Jewish children maybe.Paranorman and Timothy Green actually increased from last Monday. Strange times.

Those are some really nice holds. That's only a 14% drop from last Monday for BL and 24% for EX2. Low 60s for most. Wow.

As he left, the four turned and watched in amazement as a man in grey appeared with a staff. In a booming voice he proclaimed: "You shall not pass!" And with a blinding light the front line of Orcs broke. But they were too many and they continued to advance. The boy with the lightening scar drew out another wand and killed more but this did nothing to stop them. The two little people with hairy feet, well, were basically useless. They just ran.Alice, Bourne, Yang, and Christmas armed themselves preparing for the onslaught. Then another blinding flash of light and another Yang and Christmas appeared. "Who the fuck are you?" they both said at the same time. The other Yang said "My name is Gabriel Yu-Law and my partner is Evan Funsch. We're from the Multi-Universe Authority and we're searching for someone whose been killing all the other 'you's'. He calls himself The One." Yang responded "Well we got other's trying to kill us right now. Want to help and earn some money? We have a family to feed. We get paid by volume." Gabriel shrugged, "What the hell. We need the practice." And in the distance they saw the robotic man return saying once again, "I'm back." And behind him......they watched in awe as this ORC army grew closer. They had a split second to make the decision. Were they going to help the little people in need, or would they stand by and watch them be taken to their certain doom. But then suddenly, they heard more footsteps behind them. They turned to see the chiseled man with his bow and arrow, a man in a leather suit, a shotgun and dark sunglasses, who approached them and said, "I came back" in a robotic monotone, and then two more men came from the trees, they introduced themselves and Yang and Christmas. "We're here to help you guys fight." he heard Christmas say. "I'm shorter than all of you so I'll do more work." Yang replied. "Do we get to win this time?" the man with the bow and arrow asked. And before they could answer, the robotic man said, just before he walked out to confront the army, "I promise I will not kill anyone, stay here, I'll be back."

They looked at each other, for the first time, feeling slightly threatened by this perfectly formed physical specimen standing before them. "No, we're on the run from the Russians," they replied back to him. "I'm looking for the Russians, but not the same ones you're hiding from." And with that he took off into the jungle. They were left alone, enough time to catch their breath. But time wasn't something they could afford. They began to hear rustling in the brush behind them. Not knowing which way to turn, they waited for something, anything to happen....when suddenly a svelte, thin but muscular man with a deep tan and crocodile boots, sprang from his secret hiding spot to intercept a giant crocodile just as it was about to chomp down on the both of them. As he wrestled and twisted, they heard a blood curling scream from the big beast. Up jumped the man with a giant smile on his face and blood soaked knife in hand....."Good day mates....I'm Crocodile Dundee.....this big fellar here almost 'ad you as a snack....
