My audience was into it, there was a lot of laughter, most of the jokes landed. One scene even got applause from some. Reception should be good and rating on BMS for now is very good (too early I know). 

 

But one thing I noticed is the low amount of theatres that are playing this and the low amount of screens. Its the lowest I have seen for a SH movie at least in my city. That will hurt its gross. That and the fact that its not in 3d anywhere. 

WB clearly dumped it. Anything it makes is a bonus.

Shazam will likely fall 50% like they usually do 

Wonder Woman dropped 43%.

I don't see this replicating WW, but I believe drop will be softer than 55%.

Shazam was dumped here too. Hardly any marketing. Also no 3d option, except IMAX 3d, which is good for the moviegoers but bad for distributor who would inflate BO by usually releasing only in 3d.

In many OS markets its straight up bombing. DOM and possibly China(WOM seems mixed, and opening against local movie with better WOM) might be its saving grace.
