Heard was cast as Mera when they were still together. Her career did not advance because of this alleged hoax. She already had the role that would change her career. Staging this attack would only put this career opportunity at risk.
She never got massive support from people, people always doubted her claims. This counter suit from Depp is a complete joke, and people were only waiting for this to show their true colors.
The exact opposite has those two comments have actually happened though.

Not as bad because weekend was great and drops on Sat and Sun were quite good. But compared to other MCU movies weekday drops are slightly more harsh.
