worst film i have ever seen. I found the beginning pretty interesting...the whole mystery on the island intrigued me and i was looking forward to him figuring it out....and than he died. like WTF just happened?! Never been that disappointed with an ending of a film as this. Haven't seen the original...after seeing this though i couldn't care less about the original now.

as good as the second movie. But still not near number 1.
-
it was ok. To see the birds and lugia together was great but story was not as good as the first.
-
Thought it was a fantastic movie. The part where Pikachu was thunderbolting Ash when he was turned to stone was an extremely sad scene. I had a lump in my throat

Me and my wife loved this. Brilliant stuff. That 'cum' scene was just too good. My stomach was hurting from all that laughter.

close to 100 now

Nope. I don't see it happening. Maybe if Man of steel was better received critically (i thought it was great) but i don't see any major records going down. Maybe July OW but that's it. But than again its too early to call this now. Who knows what the trailer will bring, what interest will be like in 2015.

That's what I said. Thanks for proving my point.
"TDKR sucks. NO YOU SUCK".
You're embodying this thread and the low level it has been dwelling into for pages.
Im not saying you suck, Im saying you have been posting here consistently with the same arguments over and over. You are one of the people here who has contributed to this thread being a 'tediously repetitive, draping idiotic stuff in needlessly convoluted pretentious crap'
If you and other haters stop posting here, rabid fanboys like Squaremaster will stop too.

This thread sucks as much as TDKR. It's overlong, tediously repetitive, draping idiotic stuff in needlessly convoluted pretentious crap.
seeing as you have contributed quite a bit to this thread i would say that's how majority of your posts have been.

Saw it years ago. shitty movie..though slightly better than than the plot hole filled part 1. My favourite scene was when Predator came out of the water holding 2 Aliens in each hand. Looked so cool

fellowship of the ring - i walked in not even knowing the films full title...i walked out in love with middle earth.

Nobody críed during An American tale?
no i never cried in it, but i did love it and it was extremely emotional. will add that to my list:P
-
One of the greatest movies of all time...of ALL TIME!

TITANIC scene is the most emotional one in your list.
I would have cried on it on my first viewing, but it was back in 1997 when i was with my school mates. I couldn't exactly cry in front of them as they would torment me through the rest of my years in High School!
-
Fellowship of the ring...my intro to Tolkein and my love grew from there. Went in without even knowing what the movie was called...walked out with a shocked expression on my face. I couldnt believe how great a movie it was.
Inception - Trailers were amazing as were the reviews. This movie cemented Nolans greatness for me after The Dark Knight.

Films i have cried on.
Bambi- When i was 6 years old. Tears were streaming down my eyes
Land before time - 7 years old -I cried during the death scene at the beginning and then i remember going into the toilet and crying my eyes out after i finished watching the whole thing.
E.T. - 6 years old - The ending....i couldn't believe he would never see him again..
The Green Mile - Extremely emotional ending. Seeing Tom Hanks with watery eyes looking at the execution was exactly how i felt
The Return of the King - My favourite trilogy ever - As Baumer said.....'you bow to know one' = tears
King Kong (2005) - When he got shot up by hundreds of bullets and then is just hanging off the edge and you see his sad eyes...Heart wrenching scene. Was on a first date with my Mrs but i didn't care, i shed tears:(
Films i came close to crying:
titanic- The old couple in bed about to die and the mother putting her kids to sleep.
The Last Samurai - When the Japanese military captain sees his enemies ( his people) dying from the mini gun and orders them to stop firing...had to hold back my tears.
Bridge to Terabithia - Transported me back to my childhood to when i saw the classics children movies - Very sad movie.
Never Ending Story - Atreyu horse...his screaming really shook me. Very emotional scene.
Armageddon - Bruce willis' life flashing before his eyes...
Terminator 2- 'I now know why you cry...but it is something i can never do' and then the thumbs up...
Fellowship of the Ring - Boromirs death...everytime i watch it, it still has the same impact for me.
Braveheart - one of the best soundtracks ever helped. 'Freedoooooooooom' and then the final battle scene where the scots charge the english.
Gladiator - 'Honor him'
Lion King - Love between father and son says it all
An American Tale - Stripe just reminded me..love it
OK i think i'll stop now lol, list is getting too long.

I enjoyed STID just a notch more than Man of Steel. So Star Trek takes my vote
-
Worst event i have read since Final Crisis

its just silly the things people come out with to try to bring this movie down. All their arguments have been answered multiple times on this forum and yet they still come out with the same shit. I agree there were problems with this movie. There are a few things that i cant even explain with a straight face. But there is nothing that diminishes its overall quality to the extent these guys make it out to be.
