  1. A pretty good season finale, maybe just a bit soap opera-ish, but a solid episode.

    Thank god that...

they finally killed off Declan, a completely useless character that has been annoying me since the start. I've been hoping for both Declan and Charlotte to get killed off, but this is a good start.

I used to think he was a bit useless, but that face he made when he knew he would most probably die, was heart breaking. Poor kid. Emily/Amanda's agenda and the Graysons really fucked up the Porters' lives.

  2. There's an incredible amount of fail in this post.. IM3 is a bonafide hit on it's way to TA2 in 2015 while DC is still struggling to put together a JUSTICE LEAGUE or WORLDS' FINEST movie... Ouch.. :stirthepot:

he didnt mention anything about DC in his post. This is the reason people in the MOS get so defensive about the film because of people like you keep putting people down with your irrelevent posts.

Iron Man 3 may have been a huge hit overseas but it still couldnt contend with TDKR DOM even after having the 'Avengers effect' because face it, it just wasn't... that..... good. :flamewar:

  3. Star Trek will handle the domestic trophy on plate for CF. IM3 might miss 400m. Still and amazing total, but somewhat disappointing after the second highest OW of all time. WoM is clearly not good. Its OS performance is incredibly good, but this is a domestic thread, so don't mention 1 billion when you're wiping your tears for missing 400m.

nah it will scrape 400. But yes abit dissapointing after such a big opening but still good. Just hope Thor can achieve the same success.

  4. Gee?? For someone who hates MARVEL movies so much like you and who refuses to pay to see them much less see them PERIOD, you sure do have an awful lot on your plate question wise about this, of course for someone who doesn't give a fuck?? And while your picking apart IM3 and it's discrepancies, tell me how on earth in TDK did they back a fucking school bus into the side of the bank in the beginning to begin loading all the $$$ and no one hears anything on the outside, no one calls 911 given that cell phones play a huge part in this movie, NOTHING???

well you had a lot of questions about TDKR. Alot of the guys here answered your questions. Think its only fair if you try and answer squaremasters abouts Iron man 3

  5. Guess What?  Each one of those films makes more..... INFINITELY more sense than TDKR.  At least if Spiderman has his logo in flames on the side of a building, it would kind of make sense.  Batman did it without anyone seeing it.  Believe me, TDKR is a mess, and much inferior to all those films.

well yeah, he had. if i remember correctly. about 20 days to do it and also at night do you think anyone could have seen him? he's a ninja trained to hide in shadows (batman begins).

Besides its not meant to evoke a question in the audiences head asking how he did it. Its supposed to give chills saying Batman's back baby!

  6. Star Trek Into Darkness 3D

    O2 Cineworld

Sky Superscreen- capacity 770 (i think)

    Balcony VIP seating

VIP area was full, didn't look over the balcony to see the standard seats below but the amount of people that were coming out at the end suggested it was about 85% full at least.

    Trailers

    After Earth- No reaction

Man of Steel- Chattering at the end, heard one guy say 'wow'.

    The Big Wedding- nothing

Special 6minute preview of Fast and Furious 6- crowd was into it.

    The film:

Brilliant. Loved every second of it. Best of the year...so far. Crowd was into it, all laughed together at the funny parts. 3D was pretty good too. I'm not a fan of 3D unless its in HFR now but this was very impressive.

crowd was dead silent at the

death of Kirk. Was pretty emotional scene and you could sense the people in the auditorium was feeling it.

Special Effects were excellent and Benedict Cumberbatch killed it. Brilliant villain........miles better than that twisty Mandarin.

Overall a fantastic movie. I enjoyed it as much as the first. At some parts even better than part one

  7. I think maybe awareness wasn't that high for a Thursday opening or people were simply waiting for the weekend, because this evening is looking much busier for Star Trek than yesterday around my area. I expect over £2m for sure.

    IM3 is looking busy too.

where abouts in London are you Heretic?

  8. I just saw this movie with friends (bunch of 12-13 year old) and i must say.....i had to fight back my tears :( this was such a sad movie. Haven't felt this sad since Princess Diana died a few months back.

i still cant get this out of my head. So much emotion. Brilliant character development. Exceptional special effects. I just don't know what to say. I'm blown away.

FYI was a full house with 70% of the show packed with females.

p.s i think i have a crush on Kate Winslet
