I think this will do well and Paramount should use this film as the start of a new reboot. I have a feeling Alita will move.

I love all 5 movies tbh. Looking forward to the next film. I'm still upset about the fate of the carnivores on Isla Sorna though.

So let's say this film turns out to be a big hit, where do they go? Godzilla is already facing King Ghidorah, Rodan and Monthra in King of Monsters. They could go with Destoroyah for the third solo film and have him "kill" Godzilla. As far as Kong goes telling solo stories about him after Skull Island might be difficult.

Didn't expect it to do more than the first film tbh and it seems like they have pissed off the audience from the first.

The Book of Henry was embarrassing but it wasn't a career ending flop and Star Wars fires every director. It's a badge of honor now. Zack Snyder will have trouble ever getting another big budget film but Trevorrow hasn't screwed up anywhere near as badly. Until he implodes a big franchise he'll be okay.
Snyder needs at least 3-4 good movies before making a comeback. His better films are his low budget ones and he should go back to that for a bit.

I enjoyed this film as much as the first tbh. And people are clearly starting to hate on Scott Eastwood because of who he is. He wasn't as terrible as many have said. I thought the secondary pilots had better treatment than the first as well. In the first one they were just there.
I saw the villain twist a mile away though. It was obvious that would play out after the first film. I also like that Beckett's fate was left up in the air.

I'm sure it will be fine. Thurber and Peyton aren't going anywhere and will probably do more films with The Rock in the near future. Hate to say it but one of them will definitely direct Black Adam.
