  1. Lists always incite discussion. :) Here are Vulture.com's 25 best action films since the original DIE HARD. Here are their caveats: only one movie in a franchise. Their definition of an action film: there not only needs to be a lot of action, but if you took the action out, the film or plot wouldn't make sense. And lastly, no animation.

    25. Supercop

    24. Point Break

    23. Crank

    22. Avatar

    21. Casino Royale

    20. La Femme Nikita

    19. Unstoppable

    18. Battle Royale

    17. Spider-Man 2

    16. Mission: Impossible

    15. Speed

    14. The Fugitive

    13. The Bourne Ultimatum

    12. The Rock

    11. Run Lola Run

    10. Jurassic Park

    9. Once Upon a Time in China

    8. The Matrix

    1. The Dark Knight

    Thoughts? :)

Personally, I have a few quibbles about placement, and one or two I disagree with entirely, but that's a pretty solid filmography for someone to watch, if they haven't seen some of the list.

If you are going to include 6. The Last of the Mohicans, then why leave out every Lord of the Rings Movie! Come On!

and should Volume 2 be included? by itself or combined somewhere with # 1 - 4. Kill Bill Vol 1

Unstoppable, Mission Impossible, Speed, etc etc etc  and Crank?

and leaving out Desperado or other QT movies????

and Sin City, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Terminator 2, Skyfall, etc etc etc....

Anyway, decent list but missing alot!

  2. or is it about GZ/TM whom he has discussed in the past...

The director is accused of inciting racial violence with his retweet of the alleged whereabouts of George Zimmerman.

Spike Lee has been earning mostly positive accolades in Hollywood and the mainstream media for taking up the cause of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teenager killed by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman. A hasty retweet, though, has landed the activist-director in hot water, at least in some circles.

During the weekend, Lee retweeted Zimmerman’s address to his 248,000 followers, a move some denounced for its potential to incite violence against the Hispanic man who shot the black teenager in Sanford, Fla. On Tuesday, reporter Kerry Picket of The Washington Times wrote that the address Lee retweeted and is now floating all over the Internet was incorrect.
  3. Delivery of jokes can be botched by laughing though. I laugh at some jokes I make 'after' I've said them. Sandler tends to laugh at them while he's saying them, which ruins the effect of the joke. I just wish he'd keep that laughing under control.

Wondering if that is a sign they arent trained very well as actors???
  4. Please be respectful to females.

I am only discussing what was said in the clip...so do you have a problem with the posted clip?

PS. What about Jack's signature, I think that is worse...but you used that term yourself against me ...so I am confused, who you are talking about????
