Going into the summer the biggest movies were Star Trek, Man of Steel, Iron Man 3 , Gatsby, Despicable Me 2, WWZ, Monsters university, and Lone Ranger only a few of those movies had good multipliers and those other movies that you mentioned were not considered actual summer tent poles and the amount of money they made can't really be compared to the amount of money the tent poles make. We're the Millers was a success but Iron man 3 out grossed the movie domestically in its opening weekend

Okay I was talking about major tent pole movies not sleeper hits which by definition have to have decent to great legs if they want to be succesful

No movie not named despicable Me 2 had great legs this summer it was too crowded for the first couple months

he means that while man of steel actual weekend was 128 million a lot of people here only say 116 million because of the 12 million walmart tickets that were only for thrusday

If it is good it could play out like dkr and if it is perfect it could be like dark knight or avengers but the final gross should be around 500 million
-
It's going to make a lot of money and maybe beat avengers 2 but i doubt it will beat avengers 1 or avatar but it might have the biggest opening weekend record if it is going to have a record at all
Weekend Estimates: Thor TDW 86.1M, Ender 10.25, Free Birds 11.2, Grav 8.4, BG 11.3, Last Vegas 11.1

Now You See Me 75 million
This is the End 32 million
The Heat 43 million
We're The Millers 37 million
The Butler 30 million
The Conjuring 20 million
Grown Ups 2 80 million
Planes 50 million
Turbo was a bomb
Tent Poles are films that usually have at least over 100 million in production costs the only two by the loosest definition are Now You see Me and Grown Ups 2 the rest are not no matter how much they made
