One of my fave experiences this year at cinema, tons of fun, teens are going to eat it up, finally a Horror movie aimed to this demo that is actually great.

 

Jessica Roth was amazing, she’s going to have a bright future.

 

I can see numbers increasing during the whole weekend, it is extremely crowd pleaser, it’s just pure fun, WOM will be great.

 

Such an amazing end of year for the genre!

Spiderman 2 seriously has one of the best trailers ever! All this talk of the old ones has me rewatching it.

Universal seems pretty confident in this movie. Most horror movies (especially original horror movies) do not get a trailer tease yet alone 3. 

 

Also, I'm just happy we are finally getting another slasher! Better be rated R though...

Not understanding some of the hate for this movie. I'm not expecting cinematic gold but I am expecting a fun cheesy good time (which is what the promos have been suggesting). I am hopeful this can cross $50m opening weekend but my optimistic goal is for it to cross the $61m reached by kong.

A little ridiculous we haven't gotten a full theatrical trailer. Especially since the teaser showed very little.

Frozen legs from here on out get it to $355m. Tangled legs get it to $249. If it gets somewhere in the middle a total just over $300m is certainly possible.

 

Also, good Tuesday number! I was expecting around $1.9m for Moana.
