BB3 is looking at 3.2x+ (200+ dom) multi with the same release date, as a sequel and from less leg-friendly genre. So 3.4-3.5x for Dolittle after a low ow is not great imo. Apart from already in release Jumanji there wasn't competition and most movies are showing great holds. Nevertheless will agree that it could have potentially faded faster.

83% Verified RT score after 3,850+ ratings. Not good at all. Verified RT has been inflated compared to unverified score as it is for almost all movies. Like with gauging quality on the Maoyan scale movies shouldn't really fall below mid-80%s.

SS, DP1, DP2-R, Joker range from 318-362 dom so it's tough to simply say that was a factor. Had the movie opened to 45 it would be worth entertaining that debate, but with such abysmal opening there ought to be a slew of significant mistakes that cratered the boxoffice.

32-33 * 2.75-2.85x = 88-94 dom
CM was 2.79x after a huge ow. It did get boosted by AEG else was looking at 400-410 for 2.61-2.67x multi. The high-end of 2.85x I used for BOP looks generous.

SS and Venom are in a completely different league for me. Venom is an average but pleasing (for the Venom moments alone) time-pass watch - a gentleman's C+ at the very least. SS has moving images and beyond that it's not a movie.

Well to say it simply, Shazam was a success and more and so was AM2, and so will BOP be.
