Just got back from EoT...overall I found the movie a very solid summer sci-fi flick but not orgasmic as some here have found it to be...never the less will be recommending it to all my friends/family...
My theater was about 40% full which kind of disappointing since it was the last matinee showing and usually those are packed no matter which movie it is around here...
When I first read that, I seriously thought "eats clay" was a new euphemism for a girl going down on another girl before realizing that its a real thing about eating actual clay.
You are giving him an easy pass...I can understand during an actual battle but there were many scenes where ATJ was his family and/or non-firefight scenes and I swear his face didn't change once...I see soldiers in real life and on the screen showing emotion all the time...
Hanks in the below picture is conveying more emotion/range than ATJ during the entire movie...
He rocked it in Eternal Sunshine...
I personally think that comedy is a lot harder to pull off and its why a lot of comedic actors like Carey can usually do very well in dramatic pieces...not so much the other way around...
No doubt, either number is a monstrous opening...now I am curious to see what Saturday and Sunday look like...my personal feeling is that its not going to drop as much as we are thinking...
I never got the movie either.
On a side note, I am watching Raiders of the Lost Ark for the countless time and its still as much fun as the first time...good times...
Yea he doesn't phone it in and will give it his all whether its a big blockbuster or smaller one...true professional is the best way to describe it...
As for his personal life, I guess he can do whatever he wants...just hoping he keeps it to himself...
