  1. @lorddemaxus so was this like a college event? Or is this like The Fabelmans where you got handpicked to meet him?
  2. I’m excited for it as a Universal Monsters fan, but the trailers all have pretty awkward edits and jokes for something that is arguably a pretty tough sell. Plus I think Dracula is like Robin Hood or King Arthur where people know who they are but there isn’t a diehard fan base. And again, I’m saying as a fan
  3. Moderation @Sheldon Cr we have told you those leaks aren’t true. If you continue to deny this and derail the thread, you will leave me with no choice but to threadban you.

  6. I work at Target. I work in the toys section a lot. This is not even remotely true lmao. We also have a lot of Barbie dolls. It's probably our biggest toy outside of Disney Princess.
  7. Is The Sopranos chopped liver? Or did Many Saints of Newark taint everything?
  8. Your problem isn't what you say, it's how you say it. Feel you need to understand that a bit more
  9. No they're legal. I actually took an edible to see Avatar with my brother. I was talking about the 18+ showing. I'm assuming this means you have to be 18 or older to attend, which sounds amazing to me.

  11. Sadly I work overnights and even on my days off, my local theaters only do 10PM showings on Friday and Saturday. So I'm SOL in that regard.
  12. Man I wish we had that in America. Adult-only screenings seem like a dream come true.
  13. It's not even toddlers. They were fine. My screening had a bunch of 9-year-olds who were acting like animals during the entire screening. Even left a giant popcorn mess that was probably a pain for the ushers. Plus they were the kind of annoying kids who love to be the loudest person in the room and disrupt everybody else who want to watch a movie. I can't imagine being those boys' mothers.
  14. Seeing movies like Mario in the theater is always a nice reaffirmation that I never, ever, ever want to have kids in my life.
  15. I still think the Mario movie takes the cake for the funniest "grr it's woke". People were dunking on my Twitter timeline about some YouTube video that said Bowser was a simp and that Peach was a woke feminist. When it's like...this movie is for 5-year-olds. Go complain about grown-up stuff you weirdo.

  19. Yeah I think a live-action Zelda is what I prefer. Illumination would probably be the same patronizing fluff as the Mario movie and while I like Dreamworks, I'm not totally sure they would pull the style and tone off that well either. The How to Train Your Dragon team have all left and gone on to do other things and almost all their other movies lean more comedic. And even if a live-action Zelda is a PG-13, I don't think it matters that much? Other Zelda games have gotten T/13+ ratings, so there is precedent. And really, most PG-13 movies are kids movies anyways lol I am however hesitant on the idea of a Metroid movie, but not becuase of "maturity". Rather, the series has never been that big a seller and the games are basically just the Alien movies (Ridley was named after Mr. Scott). Like why watch a PG-13 Aliens knockoff when I can watch Aliens?
  20. Let him tweet. It makes it easier for the staff to find his alts
  21. As long as you’re not living near a nuclear power plant or a factory.
