  1. So it's fine if artists are treated like dirt? That a film people put their hard work in, and one that wasn't even that expensive, should just be left behind and away from the public just because it was intended for a streaming service and "won't make money"? I get your whole schtick is "grrr streaming bad", but this is gross anti-art stuff right here and I think even you have to admit this is a teeny bit unfair to the filmmakers and cast and crew behind this project.

I had a commitment that didn't allow me to track all the Early Access shows at 7 PM exactly, but I still tracked these showtimes a couple hours in advance. So while not perfect, at least part of their growths were still included here.
  4. Zaslav's been pushing that he wants WB to "be like Disney" and that immediately was a red flag to me. Warner's been trying to be like Disney for decades and every chance they've done has had them either fumble the bag or do okay, but not as well as Disney did. The WB network, the Studio Stores from the 90s, their feature animation department, their Broadway production company, their Australia park, the DCEU, and I guess now HBO Max have all been attempts to copy something Disney has found great success with, and pretty much all of them have done okay at best to total messes at worst. Disney's brand recognition and success as a name is just something no studio can replicate, at least if you try to rush the decades of warm fuzzy nostalgia the Mouse House has had a big head start in. Obviously I'm not saying WB should give up on popular franchises, but trying to copy a competitor that frankly has its own little universe atypical of the other studios just hasn't worked. Why would things change now?
  5. Dude is making a prediction, which we are allowed to do. And considering Warner has tried to copy the Disney business formula since the 90s to little success, it's not that farfetched to say IMO
  6. So is stuff like the Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars reboots canceled? Is Hacks canceled? Are all those DC shows moving to HBO or are they canceled too? If they get rid of TCM and Criterion after all this to “save money”, I’m going to scream. Insane how HBO Max went from the best streaming service to utter garbage
  7. I mean the director did make Deadpool 2. And Hobbs and Shaw has Kevin Hart and Ryan Reynolds cameos, so it's clear David Leitch likes his movies being goofy action comedies. Whether that was the right call or not is debatable, but I get the appeal of having something overblown and silly in your movie.
