  8. Still early of course, but I think those new Avengers films have the potential to only do like on par with, maybe even lower than Ultron. There's already the Marvel fatigue issue, the buildup for Kang is nowhere near as effective as Thanos has been, a lot of the fan favorites are gone. There's just no new and exciting hook that will get the normies excited like there were for the other ones. Only thing I can think of that would get people hyped is if through multiverse shenanigans they force Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans to come back for cheap nostalgia. Which...yeah, that's probably what they're gonna do. And it will sadly work like a charmer.
  9. Yeah. And I'm saying let it go on longer and just have the shows not be tied into the main story and saga. No movies at all for a hot minute.
  10. I mean...sure. Endgame ended things on a high note that made people happy and wrapped up all the heroes' story arcs in a compelling way. Taking a few years off to give people a breather and then excited and wistful for the characters and universe they loved isn't that big a problem. Every franchise has had to deal with the property they loved going on hiatus. Don't see a reason why Marvel has to. And like they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder. And if you want to keep the people at Marvel Studios employed and actively working, then you can do these TV shows. Just have them be like the Netflix shows where they don't tie into the movies and are just fun side adventures. Agents of SHIELD was basically its own thing and it lasted seven seasons, so I think MCU fans would be fine with that. I don't think people would be upset at Loki going on some wacky adventures as a silly side project rather than tying into this Multiverse silliness.
  11. Deadpool 3 should also get it I feel. Free Guy got solid reviews from critics and there should be enough nostalgia member berries that the Colliders/IGNs should be very happy.
  12. It's saying 87% of critics liked it, not that the movie was an 8.7 out of 10. So every reviewer could have given this a 5-6 out of 10 and that is still considered positive. o·pin·ion /əˈpiny(ə)n/ noun a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Sometimes what was considered strong and appealing then could be uninteresting and tired years later. It's not unheard of to be into a movie style and then feel it's gotten worse or lost its charms.
  13. It's very interesting to think that the one thing Daddy Iger was most proud of, what he considers to be the crown jewel, could very well be the thing that kills almost all of Disney's most valuable studios and properties. Symbolic in a way, but it's probably for the best. Other studios need their time in the sun.
