Oh? Why is that?
I mean, besides the fact that it would then be even higher after Japan rolls in.
Because Japan is a wild card, it's an unpredictable market, it could make those 11m you are hoping for (or even more) or it could bomb really hard and make less than 3m.
And Jennifer's latest movies had kind of flopped, or haven't had a great performance there:
XMA: 7.36M
Joy: had a release date scheduled but it never opened.
Mp2: 1.22M
Mp1: 1.60M
XMDOFP: 9.98M

It'd be better if it doesn't have to rely on Japan to get those 300M WW

Yeah, the ending felt very abrupt to me. I really hope the Blu-Ray has commentary or additional scenes because I'm sure there was another version of that ending.
There's an extended version, the question is, will it be on the DVD/Blu-Ray?

Btw. Vörös veréb sounds really stupid. They'll choose a generic title like "Spies in love" or something in the end.
You were saying?
Book will be released on Feb 9th, if you are interested.

TGWTT kept a higher count of theatres this week 1900 to Passengers 1500. I'm still hopeful for $100m but we will see.
Hoping it's doesn't lose more than 20-25% of its screens this week.
I don't know if you guys noted this but TGWTDT was at theaters only during the weekends after Feb 9th

And it will lose almost all of its theaters in China tomorrow as the New Years celebration starts and 99.5% of theaters are dedicated to
foreignfilms, according to posts in the China box office forum. It is still at #1 there at the end of two weeks, so it may keep a scattered few, but I can't see how that can translate into much revenue.Local films

I'm seeing all this 're release' and expansion of oscar nom films, including expansion of Arrival with bonus footage, and I'm doubly worried about what Passengers' theater count will be.
Would be a great time to release that extended final scene we all know they have.
