Just finished it. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I was honestly surprised by its twist. Apocalypse seems to be performing exactly how I figured. Will Alice 2 end up O/U 100 million ? -
Still more than Jubilee had in the other movies.

It's being released on my birthday so I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint. The last movie I got to see on my birthday was Bad Teacher so It was nice to see that the sequel to my favorite disaster movie is being released on the 24th.

I think I might see Neighbors 2 after Apocalypse. Could always use some more Rose Byrne.Plus the next few weeks are already looking like expensive with Ninja Turtles and Popstar, Now You See Me 2 and The Conjuring 2, Finding Dory and Central Intelligence, and Independence Day and Free State of Jones. Although a couple of these could easily become redbox rentals.

Sure it was marketed like an Avengers movie but it was mostly a Captain America sequel with appearances by Avengers. Which is why I think it's dropping like it is.

Don't forget The Conjuring 2 which I plan on seeing but it still feels unnecessary. As long as a sequel makes sense and doesn't feel like a cash grab then I don't mind it but when you have The Hangover 2 and 3, Ted 2 (which I loved more than the first but was still not needed), and Horrible Bosses 2 that's when I have an issue with it. That's why I love 22 Jump Street since it's aware and self referential to the fact that it's an unnecessary sequel.

Will any sequel not see a huge drop off this summer (Finding Dory excluded) ? I see NYSM 2 and The Conjuring 2 both having drops similar to Neighbors 2.

I'll probably check them both out. The IMDB listing for Moretz's character's dad has me slightly more interested even if it's just a cameo.

Same here and to me it still feels about 90% a sequel to TWS and 10% a sequel to AOU.

With each movie I enjoy him more. Like in AOU when he's self aware to how ridiculous it is that he's an Avenger and in Civil War during the scene where he confronts Stark (don't want to be too specific) after the airport battle.

So at my Civil War showing today this little kid would get excited and call out every Avenger when they appeared. He was doing pretty good until Hawkeye showed up. He actually looked to his dad and said who's that ? His dad told him it was Hawkeye and he was like oh yeah.

Yeah all 89% out of 295 critics on RT are just wanting the traffic. I mean we all know what the real reason is.

For years kids have had arguments over who would win in a fight Batman or Superman so I don't think they mind seeing their heroes go against each other. There were kids at my Batman V Superman screening cheering for their favorite.

Just noticed that Civil War dropped to 89% on RT meaning it now has the same score as The Winter Soldier.
