Yeah,it was decent.
-
Not here
As well as in some parts of Asia and the rest of Latin America.
-
Well, Bond will do strong numbers this year, and Fantastic Beasts should take the crown next year.
Of course it will!
-
2nd weekend FRa 213k -59% week 295k -54%
That's so bad.
I hope it will be more successful in Brazil and other countries.

Really liked the first one.
The first film made more than $358m worldwide and the film has more than 9 million likes on Facebook.
My prediction is $280m OS but I think it could earn much higher if it's as good as the first one or better and much lower if the opposite happens.
The trailer and the plot seems promising!
-
The Little Prince grossed $1.2m from 830 venues in France and has reached $5.2m after two sessions.
Terrible drop....
-
With today's international box office news, it will be lucky to reach 200 Million. 300 Million is out of the question.
That's even better!
- 1
-
Yes. It had 30 million OS total week and weekend.
Still will be making money in current markets for a while and markets still yet to open are:
Thailand
Indonesia
Philippines
Malaysia
Norway
Denmark
Singapore
Finland
Sweden
Greece
Italy
Germany
China
Could make over 100 million just from those markets plus the money it will still make from current markets.
Still definitely has a shot at 450 OS and 800 million WW.
Huge success for an original animated film.
I think that Germany will be very big as well as Italy.
I would really like $500m OS but as for now $470m is a safe bet.

BoxOffice.com
- F4: #1, US$5.1M OW, 2,232 screens, highest OS OW. Should include Thu.
- MI:5: U$1.8M wkn, $8.8M total
- Pixels: US$940K wkn, 801 screens; US$10.1M total, best OS market.
- IO: US$30.8M total
- AntMan: US$14.1M total
$5.1M but it does include Thursday.
Anyway Inside Out still performs very good!
-
It seems that Fantastic Four will be lucky to reach $300m Worldwide.

One of the biggest weekends, if not the biggest, of the year is here and just in time for Obon Week, too! If the Top 10 earns roughly what I'm projecting, this year's upcoming Obon Week could be the biggest of all-time.
The forecast above puts the Top 10 films above ¥3 billion (¥3.115 billion), which would make it the 8th Biggest Weekend of All-Time, and the biggest August Weekend on record. The Top 10 needs to beat ¥2.963 billion to break the Top 10 Biggest Weekends of All-Time.
*Fingers crossed* this all comes to fruition. After this weekend's openers, there isn't a wide opener until August 29th. Everyone wanted their film released before Obon Week this year.

Inside Out is still performing well.

Inside Out will soon beat Finding Nemo at the domestic box office and become the 2nd highest grossing Pixar film ever!

Many may find my comparison below stupid, but last year "The Lego Movie" was considered a success because it has gone well in the markets whose language was English, in other markets the performance was very weak, the budget is equivalent to of "The Little Prince", I'm sure the world except USA, Australia and UK, The Little Prince will outperform The Lego Movie.
I hope so.
In France it opened higher than The Lego Movie.
-
I don't have the french entries of second week, but i got all Paris's admissions.
Le Petit Prince Paris admissions
29/7 21 367 tickets
30/7 12 521
31/7 10 779
1/8 11 560
2/8 10 559
3/8 7506
4/8 9 764
5/8 5 817 (- 72.78 %)
6/8 5 017
I say anything without official sources !
That's so bad.
It will be lucky to hit $100 million worldwide unless foreign markets like the film...
-
Trailer incoming - probably with Hitman Agent 47
I can't wait!

I saw Fantastic Four with just 5 persons in the cinema.
Very low for a super hero movie.
That's terrible!
The first movie made $8.1m here.
At least it will beat that...
-
Just saw the first episode of Yokai Watch!!!
It's awesome.
No wonder why it's so popular in Japan.
-
What is your source?
I could not access the whole matter as it requires signature, but the site http://www.cbo-boxoffice.com/v4/page000.php3 you can see that The Little Prince knocked Minions and ranked first in France.
I hope you are right because if it's true it's really bad...
-
Not bad, not great. Still has China and Japan to go. Looking at 400 mil WW.
I think around $450m.
It also has Italy and South Korea.
-
Thanks a lot to Henry, Kylin, James, Lawrence and Tower for their valuable feedback.
Here's the updated projections as of July 26, 2015.
Updated countries are: China, Japan, SK and Israel. Would welcome your feedback.
It won't earn just $100m in China.....
Worst case projection is at least $150m in.
-
Final weekend estimate and the downwards trend continues :
#1: Minions - 350k (-35%)
#2: Pixels - 240k, still better than Ant-Man last week but probably won't reach 1mil total.
#3: MM XXL - 150k (-25%)
#4: Paper Towns - 90k (ok opening but seems very frontloaded)
#5: Ant-Man - 85k (-40%, not good at all)
Terrible for Ant-Man
Minions is as always fantastic!
-
CineMagia confirms a 13 Nov release date for this in Romania.
Thank you.

I still hope for $500M OS but I assume it won't happen unless China overperforms.
Anyway $450M is locked.
