I paid $90+ for JW. LOL. But that was because I watched it myself at first(imax), then watched it with my parents(imax) then my older bro and his wife made me pay for theirs(reg 3d).
Well that's not important anyway. I'm just saying I enjoyed Ant-man more than any of the movies I mentioned(that has anything to do with marvel) except Gotg.
Still features a marvel character and it does show the marvel logo so I consider it a marvel movie(or more specifically a movie about a marvel character) despite not being made by marvel studios. Anyway that's beside the point.
Yes. You do know there are a lot of other marvel movies available on home video right? And I can buy and watch them anytime or stream them too. I saw Thor's sequel after Age of Ultron and saw TASpiderman 2 after Gotg last year.
Lol like I said, the movie I've seen. Gotg nor Age of Ultron is not the last marvel movie I've seen before Ant-man. And I don't necessarily watch all marvel movies in the cinemas either.
I was thoroughly surprised by Ant-man. It's the most fun I've had watching a Marvel movie since Guardians of the Galaxy. GotG is still way better though but Ant-man holds well on its own. Definitely better than Thor or Captain America. Hopefully it does well enough in the BO.
Milestones after milestones each week! But then again, next week will the last weekend it'll be achieving milestones until it beats Titanic(if that is happening) and when it debuts in Japan, and if it manages to snag enough for it to reach $1b internationally.
If actuals go up for JW (or even if it stays the same), then TA is toast next week. JW will then take 3rd place on highest grossing film of all time both domestically and worldwide.
As long as it focuses more on Kaijus instead of giant robots and the human characters, it will most likely do well. If PR1 was a film all about the events that lead to what happened in the actual movie then it could have done way better at the box office, instead they skipped most of it and focused on the aftermath. The Kaijus were left mostly ambiguous and many characters didn't have enough time for a proper introduction.
It depends, actually. Add some few digits in the ten thousands and the totals could be different. If let's say JW got 3.545 and IO got 3.65 then JW will have the higher total.
It is still 100% a sure fire thing. You're the only lifeform on Earth and the solar system who thinks otherwise. JW is only on it's 35th day on cinemas, and it's not even half-way through until the end of its run. You're making it seem like it's only earning 5-6 digits per day.
