  1. Yeah, but I'm glad people watch local movies, despite them not being great But I don't understand why local industry didn't do more movies like Elite Squad 2, considering how huge it was.

  3. This movie is based on a popular cable TV show and has the same star of 2013's "Minha Mãe É uma Peça" (4,6 million tickets / R$ 49,5 million). It also looked super funny and we only had two successful comedies this year so far.
  4. This Filme B website have a paid subscription service so it must have detailed numbers for subscribers that aren't leaked? And the movie is set in Rio, maybe that's why it sold more tickets there.
  5. Fullbuster you should watch Elite Squad (Tropa de Elite) and its sequel, it's amazing (specially the sequel).
  6. The "Back to the Future" trilogy will be re-released here in three big cinema chains (Cinépolis, Cinemark and UCI) later this month. Do you like these movies, Fullbuster? Universal is also re-releasing it on Blu-ray and DVD with extra bonus material. I wonder if the release in cinemas will be worldwide, I didn't heard anything about it.
