Yesterday it was 119.6 at the same time.

It have slowed down even further. Now around 8% down from yesterday.

ehhh don't mix up a masterpiece next to those two...
All these are quite subjective and up for debate. If Arrival is masterpiece then BR2 is in same category going by RT and IMDB. Offcourse personal preferences on this board will keep varying
-
It seems to have slowed down little compared to the morning. Probably on pace for around 160-170m
-
Bollywood movies have started to catch attention in China thanks to Dangal/Aamir. Hindi medium opening is too good considering it doesn't have big stars/names.
-
Flow of last 20 reviews or so haven't been so good for this one. Now at 78% at RT
Looks like will finish similar to WOTW tomatometer

This has sold a sum total of fuck all in South Florida. I'm not saying that means anything, but nerd culture never really ruled the day down here, so it's not going to do great in certain markets.
This. May be too nerdy as video game movie for general audience? That is why inspite of good reviews we cannot be sure if it can do well at box office.

Looks like not the crapfest everyone here was expecting this one to be. Surprisingly decent reviews so far.

I'm very interested in reading RT's consensus. 83% and 6.8 with 29 reviews so far and it keeps going up.
I expect this to end somewhat similar like War Of The Worlds on RT. Around 75% ish or so...give or take few % to make it swing towards 73% or 77%

Yes. And being neutral as well

most of them
I hope you aren't gonna cry in the near future
Save that for yourself. If you think I want the movie to fail then you are so wrong.
Ok most of them are positive and only few of them are negative. Happy now?

There are few reviews yet to be added on RT. I see some of them (3-4) are mixed/negative while some are positive.

BR2049 number and its run is just sad

I liked it. Won't say much more than that right now as I have to get to sleep.
But I will say I'm not sure how this will play with audiences as two people walked out about halfway through and didn't come back.
Looks like length and slow pace is killing the movie for general audience. Too many complains already regarding length and pace of the movie.

The buzz is really low for this one. It needs extremely good reviews. If reviews are mixed it won't open to $40m but around $25m
On the other hand if reviews are excellent it may toy with $50m OW. Hoping for the best

Why it's releasing so late in US? By that time the movie will be already leaked online

Kosinski seems to be decent choice here considering the genre and type of movie this is gonna be.

How the mighty have fallen
The average critics rating is even lower (3.2) than ROTF (3.9) and even lower than Fantastic Four (3.4)
Looks like probably one of the worst ever reviewed blockbuster
-
Assuming almost half of the bo gross will be coming from China, how much this needs to avoid flop label? $700m?
Budget is rumored to be $217–260m exlcuding advertisements and such.
-
The initial feedback are extremely poor it seems..I was hoping it will be at least better than Age of Borington
Mark was completely dull in 4th and doesn't suit this franchise...they need to get Shia labeouf back and if not then try Chris Pratt

Looks like this had the potential for $650-700m ww. They butchered the chances completely by making crap movie. Probably looking for around $400m ww now

Awful for Mummy considering the franchise name and Cruise as star. Cruise should stop playing the similar characters again and again and again like EOT
-
At this point I will be shocked if WW opens below $120m
Although even $80m OW would be good
-
Dangal seems to be doing really good today..already close to 30M with lot of steam left for the day

I think after 1st weekend the expectations got screwed up and people were expecting $250m+ easily.
Nevertheless $225m or so is great number for the movie which could have only done around $40-45m with initial expectations.
Another thing is RPO genre limits its audience. It cannot attract people from all age and sections. Hence it was performing extremely well in cities and not that great in other places.
