Reviews have started to pour in...80% start as of now..Variety and HR looks negative while cinemablend extremely positive.

You can feel the director savoring the anticipation and then resolving it skillfully and grandly. The result is del Toro’s best film since “Pan’s Labyrinth,” one that should rightly become a staple for many Halloweens to come.

MI6 will breakout if its in 3d
-
I am not surprised nor disappointed with MI5 numbers...all movies can't do $200m+ and that too without 3d...in the thread of MI5 O/U AOU, I predicted $150m and looks like final run will be closer to that

Which is the biggest 2d one?
-
Ain't most of the big grossers in China are in 3d? MI6 to be in 3d?
-
Thats incredible for MI5 if actuals are anywhere closer...

Its doing good...just not crazy numbers...with OS getting bigger year after year around $600m OS expectation was not very much to ask for..but looks like it will end up very close to MI4 in OS which is not bad but neither exciting at the same time
-
Munich? I think its an excellent movie...one of the best of Spielberg's movies in recent times...I find it very engaging

JW would have done much better in terms of $ if the exchange rate wasn't so low

Asian market seems to be getting bigger and bigger while european market seems to be shrinking comparatively..

Bigger opening in India compared to Japan, Russia, Germany and Spain..
Europe looks weaker compared to GP...I think this might finish with more or less around similar numbers like GP unless breaks out big in China

Yes...breakout in Japan...never underestimate the box office pull of dinosaurs..with $50-60m from Japan its going to be so close to $1b OS
-
That will be very good number for MI5 if its close to Gopher's number...will push around $28.5-29m for the weekend

"I've got a source, fairly close to the production of this film, who had told me that the movie that Josh Trank and Fox had agreed on making — included 3 really big action set pieces. That was all agreed upon, it was part of the flow of the movie. And a movie is like a puzzle, you have all the pieces in place. You start messing with pieces and suddenly the whole puzzle can look out of whack. And they had agreed upon this vision for a film. Anddays before production began, Fox came in and made him pull 3 main action sequences out of the film. I was also told, the ending of the film was not even Josh Trank's. At some point they hijacked the editing bay from him. To the point that the editing of the film was done without him."

Under $50m total will be such an embarrassment..I didn't expected F4 to be great...but didn't expected this level of awfulness...its making look like Hulk, SM3 etc classic in its comparison
Worst superhero movie of all time?

Screendaily had an article of $5m ow...biggest opening ever for hollywood that time:
Don't think it would have done just $7m after $5m ow. But Kapoor was in GP and Cruise also visited India so it gave boost to GP...not expecting GP level opening.
-
JW and Inside Out literally sucked all the money and glory of box office...after that these are just leftovers.
