  1. AOTC ruins everything. How typical! It's like sand, it gets into everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Amazing post Baumer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I love George, but that interview isn't his finest hour.
  4. I think mid February is more realistic, but with what TFA has done who's to say.
  5. True, but HG:CF had a Thanksgiving release that wasn't that far off from TFA and it still had a typical OW record setting drop of 60.6%. No where near the the 33.7% TFA is likely to pull in when the numbers settle. No doubt that TFA's release date has helped it, but it's never helped any other film set the OW record and demonstrate holds like this.
  6. TFA simply hasn't behaved the way an OW record setter should. Here, from BOM, are the last 10 OW record setters and their Week 2 declines. I put in $21M for Thursday and this is what I've got: Not sure why my image isn't loading, but with a rough estimate of $21M for Thursday I get TFA to have a 33.7% Week 2 declines. Before that only JW had managed to fall under 50% with 49.5%. 33.7% for a OW record setter is ridiculous.
  7. Your chart gave me an idea Baumer Fett. I looked back at the last 10 OW record setters. Here's where they ended up on the all time Domestic list when they were done: Spider-Man 3 #15 The Dark Knight #2 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 #13 The Hunger Games #13 Marvel's The Avengers #3 The Dark Knight Rises #7 Iron Man 3 #14 The Hunger Games: Catching Fire #10 Avengers: Age of Ultron #9 Jurassic World #3 TFA will be the first to take the domestic crown. We're in uncharted territory. No other OW record holder has had a run like this. This is one of the reasons I think $1B DOM is in play.
