It makes sense that a part 2 of a cliffhanger film would have a bloated opening weekend. $850m dom max for me, leaning towards 790 to 820 -
Round 2? Terms are over 200m and over 5x for me Over 200m and under 5x for you Under 200m bet is void I will say if it over 250m that 5x becomes difficult but I'll stick with it

Cinemas score is a sham so I wouldn't trust that WOM. I think its got enough juice to beat Avatar but I remember thinking the same thing for IW and TItanic then it fell over a 100m short.

Oh just so you know I was talking about Endgame, I think it could easily make under $900m DOM and most likely will make around 800-850. I'm in complete agreement with everything you said. I think the average doubters issue is, 1) They don't understand what made Avatar so popular and succeed so well 2) They don't understand that Avatar 2 will be better than Avatar as the ground work has already been done and Jim is the most prepared he has ever been going into a film This is Jim's mahatten project, blinds are going to be BLOWN

Timmy Timmy Timmy!!!!!!!!! Jim (Jimmy) is spinning in his directors chair right now. You know who hates dark 3D screens more than you? It's Jim of course. He even disallowed cinemas from showing Alita in 3D if the screens didn't meet the required lumen rating (over 4). I think he said 2d is in 16 lumens, and that's how 3D should be aswell, it's how he watches it in his editing studio. Cinemas are going to have to get the fuck in line if they want that Avatar money, especially with Disney's backing aswell. Find a DOLBY cinema and watch the film properly please.

The source for this one is at 6min 50seconds. Also I love the extended cut for the Grace scenes, fuller greater movie imo.

Saw the mention and thought I was done for. Still here, still spitting fire, still here to discuss daily the box office for Wednesday. So what about those Wednesday numbers? -

This is the most senseless post on the forum I've ever seen. If you think we'll ever turn on Jim you're off your bloody rocker. -

Not angry. I've been saying this for years. Modern blockbusters and especially big franchise ones are poor quality. I'm certain you've read this from me many times. I mean unless Ive been on this emotion road for 10 years? -

All sequels to bad films and were bad films themselves. A2 will be revolutionary like every Jim film. -

Honestly 10 years? Glad someone finally came at the king. Now we have an evil to defeat with Avatar 2 or the Avatar re release, adds some spice. The more cocky people get will just make it all that sweeter when A2 makes 4 billies. Also if Endgame misses now it will be hysterical. Avatar size release today would make 3.5b at least... Check Avatar thread for analysis. Side Note, image there shows the difference between Jim and studio manufactured cookie cooker filmmaking. That scene is beautiful its hard not to cry, the difference in filmmaking is so astronomical its comical.- 301 replies
