Yeah. Surprised it wasn’t the first major six studios to be bought. They could’ve prevented DWA though by renewing the 2012 deal but they got cocky with Rango.

Paramount is still desperately trying to survive. They finally started that Hasbro cinematic universe.

Inflation it adjusts to $200M. 2manji is topping that.

Disney, Lionsgate, WB (despite a shitty fall outside of IT) and Sony had great years this year. Universal and Fox were okay, meanwhile Paramount did awful.

I would be hella impressed if Sony pulled off rebooted two loved IPs into $300M monster hits this year.

Grinch and Incredibles should breeze past $400M imo. Ralph 2 and HT3 should be around $150M-$200M. Spiderverse and maybe Peter Rabbit should cross $100M. Smallfoot can do around $70M. Gnomes will do $500M (jk more like $40M)

Same here about Coco. 2018 should be solid and 2019 could be as big as 2016.

Sony can surprise people. Besides is it different from others thinking Mortal Engines might be a hit

I still feel the GA might eat this up. The race for number 1 between it, IW and TI2 for box office supremacy should be interesting.

Still at least it’ll hit $200M. Aside from it and DM3, animation sucked this year. Next year should rebound.

IX has some solid competition. The Call Of The Wild, a hybrid animation from Fox (which could move), Wicked which could be bigger than Jumanji and Sing, and Masters Of The Universe which could surprise.

JW2 will probably do Ultron numbers, maybe $470M.

It’s following typical SW saga patterns. IX should be locked for $600M. It’ll probably have a small increase. However studios know they can have films against it know.

You know what if Lionsgate buys Weinstein and perhaps Blue Sky (since Ferdinand didn’t do so hot and if they don’t fold it into DisneyToon, I can see Disney selling and maybe Lionsgate buying), and Choas Walking does $300M+ well (again not likely) they can position themselves to be a big 6 studio taking Fox’s spot.
