  1. Apes and Blonde are leaving North Shore and Annabelle is getting Ultrascreen DLX.
  2. Panther is also in the perfect spot advertising wise. It'll have a second trailer with Thor and a final trailer with Jedi. And likely a Super Bowl Spot/mini trailer too since it's two weeks away. Then with no competition it'll run through February and benefit from WIT double screenings.
  3. I was thinking about putting Venom in but I think it may do less than Homecoming OW ($117M) for a final gross.
  4. Henceforth I didn't include the obvious big hits (IW, HS, JW2, DP2, and TI2).
  5. I still remember Kevin hoping each new release would truck WW legs after it opened but they all underperformed or flopped (with the exceptions of DM3 WW and Homecoming)
  6. I wouldn't be mad at Disney for doing the remakes if they weren't copy paste cash grabs or did something different. They should just remake the bad or mixed or not the most popular ones that no one really cares about in the first place like Pocohantas, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home on The Range, and Chicken Little and find ways improve on them like a good remake should. TJB is not even that popular at first and it did near $1B WW. If it looks interesting to the GA, they'll go in numbers. Who know, maybe if Disney remade something like Treasure Planet and made it better it could be their next Pirates franchise.
  7. Fair enough. It and Jumanji are by no means locks but both have a solid chance at $200M if both are good. Thor using past MCU sequel jumps has a $110M-$115M OW and if it follows the legs of Homecoming and Strange, it'll reach $300M but that's the maximum. JL will very much deal with BVS backlash on OW, even with WW doing some damage control, but can have solid legs if better than BVS and reach $400M.
  8. New Mutants has the chance to be the next YA franchise if Fox and Boone play their cards right. This time with the appeal of CBM fans. Could very well do over $250M.
  9. IT and Jumanji can do $200M. Thor if it has legs like Homecoming or Strange will do $300M JL will do $400M Jedi will do $700M
  10. Not to mention, it's likely the most holiday feeling movie and most appealing family movie of 2018 outside of Poppins, and let's face it, Ralph 2 will likely be another Dragon 2 and Spider-Man seems likely for TLBM numbers.

  12. Yes. I think it'll outgross Pets as Illumination's highest grossing stateside film pretty easily.
  13. Panther: $335M Time: $210M RP1: $305M Mutants: $250M Rampage: $175M Alita: $200M Grinch: $400M Engines: $160M Aquaman: $330M Poppins: $270M Meg: $100M
