Yeah, I think I was right in believing that Fox has no clue on how to market this movie. Five months and they mustered up that music selection. I think the trailer was meant to intrigue the casual movie goers who aren't aware of the franchise, and I think it's working for the most part based on responses I'm seeing from non-fans. However, it's totally not the vibe Fassbender and Kurzel have said they are going for, as you can see in the E3 footage and even the Kanye track felt it had gravitas and more of an edge to it.
