Spiderverse did not attract as many black people as one might think according to those numbers. And 67% non families? Interesting.
Anyway as most thought, Spiderverse will not be a mega opener, it will be a legs movie. If it were live action it would have had a chance at a live action style big opening.
Yeah to me it's looks very fanboys driven.

There is nothing more concerning than the people who usually fap to The Favourite, Roma, Moonlight, Manchester by the Lake, Lady Bird, The Florida Project of the world choose their annual sci-fi-fantasy-superhero movie and rave it to the moon.
They always choose one to justify their very existence.
And 90% of the time, their reasons for praising said movie are the wrong ones because they don't care for the genre and its worlds and characters at all, for the vast majority of them.
Rooting for a movie to fail is utterly stupid.
With that in mind, I hope this movie is a big disapointment and that something inside the movie turns off GA.
But then again , betting against a superhero movie in 2018 is an exercise in futility.
I'm not rooting aganist it but I don't think this Spidey will do well at all.

The fact FB2 is making Divergent numbers. Adjusted for inflation the first Divergent did $171m DOM.

Considering FB has 3 movies left that's plain awful.

Looking at the schedule and the underperfomers it's gonna be the worst thanksgiving week in years.

I mean predicting Venom's run was kinda impossible, $100m circa was a reasonable prediction.

1. Where is this lunacy coming from, regarding Spider-Man Homecoming?
it was great.
2. I really enjoyed CoG, saw it at noon at Disney Springs, it has one crucial element all previous films lacked, the element of surprise.
even the first Beasts, you knew what was coming, and how the movie would end, this one, I did not see most of that coming at all.
BTW, when I asked how Beasts was doing today, they said it was doing considerably better than yesterday.
Here on BOT people hated it...indeed many expected to drop like a rock instead apart from the second weekend it was super leggy.

13.3m for Widows would be awful.

So now not only Thursdays previews went from midnight to 10AM / 4 PM now random "sneak peaks" count for the weekend

Catching Fire >>> Force Awakens, R1, The Last Jedi and Solo

The Rock in few months has had: a mega hit, a solid hit and a bomb....as usual star power is used when it's convenient..

It’s fine not everything can blow past expectations...

Frozen 2 is the only one of those I'm 100% sure on not hitting 600. All the others stand a chance at least. Fanbase is far too limited now to a certain demo and the gap is very awkward. Too long to really capitalize on the height of popularity, too soon to capitalize on nostalgia.
LOL..Frozen was MASSIVE especially after its theatrical run. Easily the biggest Disney Animation movie since TLK..

I'm shocked to say this but looks very decent...

The Last Jedi may not be a spectacular film, but it has a lot more to say, and of both films that one is definitely risking a lot.

Great holds week to week..expect well..

Most I can see is 56 million. It should increase by 300% today to 24 million and then stay flat on Sunday.
